I got Dreamland; the Alice in Wonderland one, once as a gift and then I got a second because I made what I thought to be a user error mistake that could not be fixed. It was not user error. The instructions are extremely unclear, the labels for the parts are difficult to read as they are black on dark red, and everything is beyond difficult to slot together after you get past the smaller parts.I did this over several days and could not do it all in one sitting. I came back each day with a fresh set of eyes. Horrible experience. I don't know if its just this kit or all of their kits.I would absolutely not recommend this at all.

I love doing these, and this one was no exception but with a few exceptions. Some of the pieces are super thin and can easily snap and break if you're not careful. Then some pieces didn't fit as snuggly as they should and ended up needing to be glued in order for them to stay put. My frustration level was high and I nearly lost my temper and head with this one, but overall it turned out beautiful when it was complete, so it may have been worth it.

This is not my first intricate book nook - so I was not daunted by the number of pieces. But the instructions are sometimes a little difficult to understand what they are trying to tell you to do. And some of the pieces are difficult to snap together - especially when you are trying not to break them! One hint - when putting the columns together - fairly early on in the process - don’t start with the smallest column as shown in the instructions. Assembly is the same for all so start with one of the larger ones so you can see what you are doing in relation to the instruction. Otherwise, this is a nifty book nook and will join my others. I do like to add a few personal details to my book nooks, as I did with this, a miniature of Alice Through the Looking Glass book, and some tiny Alice playing cards. So remember you can add your own flair.

I ordered the "Alice's Evidence" version of the book nook since I really liked the intricate design and composition of the book nook online. However, this was the second book nook that I've done, and it was really complicated.... and not because there were too many pieces. For me, the directions were unclear for over 20% of the process, and there was a fair bit of "figure it out" work that had to be completed... this could have been excused if the pieces were of higher quality, like balsa wood, but it was like they laser cut cardboard/ really thin particle board. The pieces were constantly chipping/ breaking/ needed to be sanded. Needless to say, there were many errors in fit that had to be adjusted for on my end. This made the end result okay, but it definitely could have been easily improved with clearer directions and better materials on the manufacturer's end. There are so many other high-quality options on the market at the same price point that I won't be ordering this brand again.

Really enjoyed this mini book nook, The instructions were clear the pieces worked out perfectly. I had a lot of fun watching this come together, highly recommend.
