Writes smoothly with no smudges.
I love a good pen! This writes smoothly, dries fast so there's no smudges and it looks more professional than a standard click pen. The durability of the tip is also strong.

great pro pens for drawing
OK. I’m a professional illustrator and these are great quality professional pigment pens. Good solid black and lots of line widths to pull just what I need. Cheaper as a set on Amazon than buying individually at the art store. A lot of comic artists use them. I draw and moments later they’re dry and I can erase without blurring lines. I don’t draw “heavy” so in my use the tips hold up.

Works for my needs. No Smearing!!
Bought these to use with my adult coloring books. I like the assortment of tips so I can choose the thickness of line I need for a picture. I love that they do not smear! I have not noticed any bleed-through, which is also a plus. Good pens.

Never using other fineliners again !!!!
Shipped safely and all pens were perfect. I had no dried out ones thankfully which tends to happen a lot when I order on Amazon.I’m a multimedia illustrator, with most of my work being manga and anime related so fineliner pens are obviously a must have. I can’t recommend these pens enough. I used to use microns but I will seriously never go back. The quality of the nib, the ink flow and pigment, and the size range are worlds above most fineliner pens I’ve tried. Not to mention how much more affordable these are.I have accidentally left one open for a day or two and I can say for sure these do not dry out when left open. It worked the same as when I got it.

Good deal of $2.35 each
5 pens for $11.75 is a pretty good deal. Other stores like Blick sold them for $5 each. All the pens I received still had a good flow of ink but they feel like pens that sat around.Although, the box that it came in was in rough condition. It looked like someone opened it. Even so, the pens came out fine.

Better than Microns in a few ways
I like Microns and used them a lot, but I decided to try these ones and have now replaced my Microns for writing and drawing. My most used ones are the 005, and the Pigment Liners definitely feel less scratchy at that size. The tips might also be more durable, but maybe I just wasn't gentle enough with the Microns before I knew better. Drying time seems about the same, but what I really appreciate is that they smear less than Microns when highlighted. Under my specific conditions anyway (Kokuyo Campus Loose Leaf paper; Zig Clean Color Dot pens to highlight). The Microns would smear and get their ink on my dot pens even if I highlighted them days after writing.

Excellent 0.5mm Premium Fineliner Pens!
Of course, that's why I chose to get Staedtler fineliner pens. And so far, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. I would also say that when I put the pen caps on, there is a nice satisfying 'click' that lets me know that they are all of the way on, but apparently that doesn't matter too much with these pens. Because they claim that the caps to these pens can be left off for more than 12 hours and they won't even dry out! I haven't tested that though. However, while I'm not the type of person that ever loses the caps to my pens, it's good to know that if I DO temporarily lose a cap for a while, that my pen will still be ok.

Holy cow!!!
EDIT - I just now ordered my second set of these pens. I only have 3 or 4 left of the original ones I purchased. The reason for the edit?? These were used every single day for months!! I'm literally talking about 4-5 months of consistent, perfect performance from these pens!!! I actually ordered my first set of Sakura Micron pens last week and after only 3 days, one of them already had dried out!! I absolutely love these pens and will only be using them in all of my art from now on!!!Alright, now these were literally just delivered about 20 minutes ago. However, I've been waiting so long to get a chance to try them out, I had to go ahead and test them.First thing I noticed immediately is the outside of the pens have an amazing texture to them and I love it. Very nice. After I swatched every pen, I have to admit that I am so very impressed!! I literally cannot believe how incredibly smooth they feel when you use them!!! I have never experienced any kind of pen that delivers that level of smooth writing ever! No skipping, no dragging - nothing but exceptional performance. The cardboard thing they come in says on the back that they are able to stay out without the cap on for around 12 hours, and that is amazing. Obviously, I seriously doubt that I will ever try that out to see, but still thought I would mention it.I do a lot of zentangle and abstract fineliner art and, believe it or not, I actually tend to use the bolder pens most. So I'm always looking for a great set that includes some of the bolder nibs on them. This set has 4 of those, one of which is the biggest I've seen on these kind of pens - a 1.2mm. Never thought I would say something like this, but I am 100% in love with this set of pens!! Now, obviously since I just got them, I can't speak as to just how long they will last, but I will try to remember to update this a month from now and let you know how they are doing. All in all, I'm so very impressed with these, it's crazy. I've purchased about 7 different brands of fineliner pens on here and while the majority of them perform practically the same, I've only used one brand that has really stood out and I've purchased more than once (Ohuhu). But after these, I have to say, I do believe that these are a lot better than those. Especially when it comes to just how smooth they perform. Definitely recommend them!
