Just opened a decaf and really tastes burned.  is that the taste? this is my 3rd calm bag - didnt notice b4,or possibly is this batch actually burned?

Our Calm Coffee taste profile includes dark chocolate, vanilla, and sweet red apple-like mild acidity.

We recommend brewing our coffee using clean, fresh, chemical-free water with mineral content. Grind coffee fresh to match your brewing method. Use water around 200 degrees F (93 degrees C), keep brewing equipment clean, and store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

Is this coffee histamine free?

The presence of histamine is usually related to lower-quality coffee, and proper roasting can eliminate most of the histamine present.

At Purity Coffee, we ensure that our coffee is held to the highest of standards during production and roasting, which results in our coffee rarely being the source of a histamine reaction.

Although we cannot confirm the presence of traces in the coffee, we cannot exclude the possibility. It is, however, the only coffee that many of our customers with histamine intolerance issues can tolerate without experiencing adverse reactions.
