Always Good Socks
Great socks. Comfortable, sturdy, and with a lifetime guarantee. They stay up and I have a few different styles, and all are well made. I have used the guarantee several times as I have purchased socks from Darn Tough exclusively for years now, and I have never had a problem. Yes, for a pair, they are expensive, but when you consider you can replace them when they get damaged, it works out. Plus, it's an American company hiring Americans. What's not to like?

Darn Tough is darn good
First time buyer of Darn Tough brand products based on a friend's recommendation. Used during 2 days of skiing. All I can say is WOW!!! They were comfortable, didn't shift or sag during the entire day, and felt mostly dry at the end of the day (which is pretty amazing considering where else is the moisture going to go when it's completely trapped in a tight ski boot for 6 hours?). The padding on the shin/heel were just right. Time will tell if they will last but I appreciate Darn Tough has a lifetime warranty and has a reputation for standing behind their products.

Great skiing socks
Great skiing socks. I wore them on two different days when temps were around 40 degrees. Perfect for warmer weather, and would probably be ok down to about 30 degrees or so. Colder than that and I'd probably wish for a slightly thicker sock like the Smartwool PhD. No blisters, padding is minimal and comfortable, and they seem to be holding their shape well.

Great ski socks
These ski socks were fantastic. My husband's feet were warm and dry. The padding in the front was perfect. The only suggestion he could make was a little padding on the sides too. His shins were fine, but he came home with bruises from the sides of his ski boots digging into the sides of his legs.

Well made
I like over the calf socks, and these are new favorites. Seem to hold up really well, they are ‘darn tough’ really!!

Warm, comfy, just a bit short!
Great socks, super comfy, sadly not long enough.I really like these socks but they are supposed to be over the calf but on me they only come mid calf which means they start to slide down pretty much as soon as you start moving.I am a size 12 foot with 32" inside leg (so not crazy long legs for my foot size) and I have these socks in XL, they are comfy and very warm but come up a little short I think. Ok for walking around in cold conditions but not great for exercise which is what I bought them for. I have other DarnTough socks that are the correct over the calf length.

These really are tough!
top product - previously bought these 3+ years ago and they're still going strong (I do Australian and Canadian winter, so around 6 months a year, skiing 1 day in 2 or 3....). Bought more so I can leave some in Canada, some in Oz, and to extend the period between washes!

Three Stars
Big lump of padding on the shin ... Looks wierd at first ... But cushions where the boot rubs
