Does the job it is intended for in powering a Yealink desk phone where power to ethernet is not available sucvh as for remote worker at home.

I brought this as it appears to show the correct amps and voltage for my IP phone. Although quite expensive, I feel reassured it will not overheat as it will be used 24hrs a day. Star lost for price as I brought an IP phone converter which came with a very similar adapter and only cost a little more for the adapter too.
