The Edelbrock 2696 Carburetor Adapter is a 0.85-inch thick aluminum spacer plate designed to mount Edelbrock square-bore carburetors onto stock Quadrajet and Thermo-Quad spread-bore manifolds. It improves intake manifold pressure at idle, boosts horsepower and torque across the RPM range, and includes all necessary gaskets and hardware for a secure, vacuum-leak-free installation. Compatible with a wide range of GM, Ford, Dodge, and GMC vehicles originally equipped with Rochester Quadrajet carburetors.

Perfect fit and zero clearance issues using the edelbrock air cleaner.
Only difficulty was fabrication of the extension on the throttle cable bracket since the adapter widens the stud spacing. Used on a 1979 Chevy K20

Best for AVS 2 carbs
Used this for my eddy 1913 carb, perfect fit! Had a Spectre adapter, had to bore out the holes for the bigger AVS butterflies. No such issues with this one. Get the eddy adapter if you have an eddy or Carter carb
