Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof - Very Black

A great 'every day' black mascara. Not difficult to remove, so will rub off a bit when swimming. It doesn't irritate my eyes.

Good mascara, works well

Really applies effortlessly, coats your lashes with a very dark black pigment of mascara. Gives a very dramatic finish.

I used to use this years ago and then got sucked in by advertising & diverted to other brands. I did try it again a few years back but was disappointed. I like the simple brush as it makes less mess than a lot of brush types but initially I didn't think it was that great. However, in the recent cold snap I went away for a few days & happened to stay in a very cold house. This then worked really well. Since then I've been storing it in my fridge. It seems to improve the consistency of the first application which is cleaner & thicker. The only issue with this product is that it's barely ever in stock anywhere, and the price online is almost double what it would be if I could find it in local shops.

It said waterproof on the packaging (which was not hygiene sealed) but it isn’t waterproof. Just ran down my face and smudged everywhere. Rubbish.

This is my all time favourite go to mascara! I do use other mascaras but I always have this one too. It gives you a clean finish without overpowering the lashes. It also holds the curls nicely all day. A really winner 👍🏻

I have been using this mascara for a few years now and it works great for me. It’s not super thick, but you can add a second coat, if needed. The brush separates my lashes well and there’s no clumpiness. It does not run or smudge, even when crying and it washes off easily with coconut oil. It’s also much less expensive than other brands. It’s a great product.
