8 ATM Dolby Atmos Certified Elevation Speakers (Black)

First about the seller I am Canadian and these add-on speakerscame from the USA I was concerts out duty and charges by UPS. I contacted the seller and was assured no extra costs to be added to me. Next well packaged no damage. Now my main speakers are not Jameson's and these have 2 pegs that go into a slot for speaker connection. I had to attach wires to them for speaker activation with a clip . Now all connected and turned on my AVR Jumped to YouTube and put on Dolby Atmos music ,short and tests. I am blown away by the extra sound this added to my man cave crystal clear room filling sound. Truly like I'm in a theater. I can say honestly if your your sitting in the fence on buying these take the leap I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

They are great , if you have the tower speakers that match, you need these before there gone for good

I have had this Atmos speaker for 6 months now. I am running a 5.2.2 all Jamo satellites and dual SVS PB-1000 subs. Make sure you set these up correctly to get the most out of them. After I used The room correction setup on my Denon I soul checked and tweaked the levels using an SPL meter to set the channel levels. So you also have to make sure when setting distance to your main seating area you HAVE to do 2 things. First set the Atmos speaker to Front Dolby and measure the distance from the driver to your ceiling. If you don’t they will not perform correctly. These steps make all the difference in the world. I love my Jamo speakers, I was a little hesitant at first because they were so inexpensive, and they look great. So after doing my homework I gave them a shot, they perform well above their price range, they have a huge soundstage and are crystal clear. So in conclusion you can’t go wrong as long as you play them at a reasonable level 85-100dB peak levels.

I purchased these for my friend who already had purchased the Jamo 5.0 set and an amplifier that supports Dolby Atmos. These Atmos speakers will ONLY work with the Jamo 803 Bookshelves, and the 807 and 809 Towers. They sit on top of these speakers, and their audio connectors pass through to the 803, 807 or 809 speakers. That means that you should see two pairs of terminal connectors on the main speakers. One pair is for the Atmos speakers, the other pair is for the main speaker. See the attached picture for details on this. These speakers do a good job providing a slight overhead sound from your seating position. They won’t replace in-ceiling speakers, those are the ideal setup one would want for Atmos overhead sound. But given my friend lives in an apartment, overhead speakers aren’t an option. These are the next best alternative. We tested out the movie Dunkirk, which uses these speakers to great effect. You can hear bullets fly overhead, planes sound like they’re flying over you. It was a nice improvement over his standard 5.0 setup. Another nice thing to note, the 807 speaker grills will actually slide up to cover the Atmos modules as well. It nearly makes it look like a single speaker. It’s a nice touch from the company. They know how to make a good looking speaker. If you already own the Jamo 803, 807 or 809 speakers, do yourself a favor and pick these up while you can. They add just a bit more immersion to movies that have an Atmos soundtrack.

I am very happy with this pair of black Jamo S8 ATM. They are working just great to watch ATMOS sound movies. You will need a pair of the same brand speakers like S803 or S809 first as they are NOT floor speakers. Of course u need a receiver and blue ray able to play Atmos sound. I set this one in a 5.1.2 system and planning to buy a second pair for a 5.2.4. Sound is good for such a low price. Perfect for the room size. I am happy.
