Green color frosted area of approx.20mm depth displays at one surface end for marking. Storage: Microscope slides should be stored in a dry place at constant room temperature, not directly on a floor. Do not store slides and solvents together as the slide surface can turn hydrophobic. The frosting layer may fall off the glass where caustic condition are applied. If the temperature is constantly warming and cooling, condensation may occur, which can cause sticking of the slides. Allow the slides to REACH room temperature prior to opening the cartons and using them. Since soda Lime glass is subject to an aging process, we further recommend continuously rotating stock so the oldest slides are always used first, ensuring that all slides being used are of the highest quality. Nice quality
Nice quality. Makes getting good slides easy.

Works fine but half the items are misspelled
The slides appear to be prepped fine however a large portion of them are completely misspelled which makes it complicated to use for teaching. It would be nice if the labels were correct to make it seem more legitimate.

LabVita has become one of my go-to brands for pre-clean slides, and these positive PCB microscope slides have only reinforced my appreciation. At just $22.72, they offer great value for money. It's worth noting that the PCB element has a permanent adhesion bond, so these slides are not reusable. However, their high quality is undeniable. They arrived flawlessly cleaned and neatly packaged for easy dispensing. Overall, I give these slides a solid 5-star rating for being a great product from a reliable brand.

Safety Warning
I don't normally write reviews.The slides came out of their respective slots and upon opening the latch to their container they were found stacked on top of each other. The mounting medium they used either had not set or had melted during transit causing some slides to be stuck to each other. This however is not the issue.While no slides where cracked, many were chipped and I believe the combination of movement during shipment and the stacking of the slides caused these chip to essentially be ground. The result? The finest particles of glass that are not noticeable to touch but also able to be breathed in or accidentally introduced to the eye. PPE is essential if I wanted to go through the effort of salvaging, but many slides seemed unusable.My suggestion if you order is to heed my warning and take caution when unboxing.I returned my set of 50 slides.

Excellent product- clean slides for once!
Slides arrived in perfect condition: superbly clean, not requiring additional cleaning like Amscope slides, which arrive in filthy condition and need to be cleaned prior to use. Edges are smooth and corners rounded.
