The perfect slicer for soft cheese
Growing up in the northern prairies, I considered Velveeta the only true cheese! None of this "cheese product" nonsense! I still love its lovely meltiness. Most cheese cutters leave slices of Velveeta in a ball of mess. This cutter is perfect!

Does not cut all the way thru
I like the simple design and how eady it is to use. It just does not cut completely through the cheese bar. Otherwise i would give it a five. Other than that i really like it.

By far the best I've seen.
A great cheese slicer. Nothing fancy, but it has a nice tight wire and a slender, lightweight handle. I've ordered 2 more since I have cheese a couple of times a day.

Tut was er soll, kommt bei richtigem Hartkäse aber an seine Grenzen
Ich bin zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Ab der Konsistenz eines (sehr) jungen Goudas lässt sich jeder Stückkäse ohne Probleme (mit etwas Übung) in gleichmäßige Scheiben schneiden. 1mm dünne Scheiben wie in der Produktbeschreibung genannt werden zwar sehr schwer umzusetzen sein, aber gut.Ich merke an, dass der Hobel bei richtigem Hartkäse, im schlimmsten Fall noch mit etwas trockenerem Rand, an seine Grenzen kommt. Der Draht machte zwar nicht den Eindruck, dem Druck nicht standhalten zu können, allerdings schneidete er in dem Fall so gut wie gar nicht mehr. Ggf. wäre ein minimal dünnerer Draht hier geeigneter - vermutlich zu Lasten der Qualität. Also muss ich hier wohl doch wieder zum Messer greifen. Da dies in der Produktbeschreibung auch nicht explizit vorausgesetzt wird, ziehe ich keinen Stern ab.

Das ist der beste und vielseitigste KäserHobel den ich je hatte. Er ist jeden Cent wert. Wenn man ihn richtig einzusetzen weiss, ist er einfach nur genial und super Qualität
