I just bought my first MacBook Pro 13" with High Sierra installed on it. This book is fantastic as I am a visual learner. The book shows you step by step, in pictures, how to do what you want to do. You see the exact same thing on your MacBook that the book is showing you. Step 1, Step 2, Step 3. If there are any options or sub steps A, B, C. You can't go wrong. It's practically idiot proof. Full disclosure: I am a non tech savvy senior citizen. This is perfect for me. Know your needs and make an informed choice. I'm glad I did and bought the paper back version of this book.

I will only use this book as a reference book. Watching the you tube videos by David A. Cox, that really taught me the total concept of how to find my way around the holistic concept of apple.

My fault for not noticing how out of date the information was before buying

Bought it as a gift for a relative who is new to the Apple family of computers and electronics. She says that she likes how the book covers everything from steps A-Z and that it has helped her tremendously with navigating through her new Apple computer.

Small print difficult to read

This book is extremely helpful. Im going from a PC to a Mac and didn't have a clue. This book is making the transition smooth

Bought this book because I was new to the Apple MacBook Air and I’ve found it extremely useful in getting to know my way around the laptop. It appears to cover every aspect, and I would have struggled without it. All the instructions are accompanied by actual screen shots which are clearly labelled. Easy to follow step by step instructions are given at every stage. I would highly recommend this book for both its clarity and coverage.

Very good , had this downloaded to my Kindle and Samsung S2 tablet . I am in transition from Win 10 to Mac , found this to be descriptive , easy to follow , would recommend .

Informative Book, should also prove to be a good reference book. Second order of the same book, first arrived damaged and subsequently returned, second arrived damaged but did not return as I needed to use it, disappointing, problem due to insufficient packaging, not been a problem previously.

I bought this book for a friend who is not familiar with her new MacBook. She found the book much too complicated from the beginning. She had hoped for a much simpler approach. She also found the type very small.
