I bought this to put in a window of a place I'm renting for a little extra security because the window latch doesnt always work right. It was easy enough to put in the window and appears to be pretty sturdy. The latch that's put in it to hold the bar at a certain height can be a little difficult to remove but overall, it does the job and is easy to keep from view.

I purchased this security bar for my bedroom sliding glass window. I put it together (took all of 5 minutes) and adjusted it to fit my window. I purchased this one because it is adjustable. I like that I can have my window open only a few inches or more, or can adjust it to keep it from opening at all. Very affordable and useful. It provides security at any time for any occasion. I plan on buying another for a second sliding window. It will provide security day or night, when I'm home or away.
