tight fit, reasonable price
snaps tight, had to use a small screwdriver to open/remove it which is both a good but inconvenient "feature"; all plastic, no metal connecting bar like the original but doesn't seem to be an issue

Fit perfect
It was a perfect fit for my go pro just trying to figure out how to take it off I have the go pro 8 black

Hard to open after installing, could damage something by accident.
Item feels to be of decent quality with plastic that fairly closely matches the plastic of the body of the GoPro Hero 8 Black. Replaced a 3D printed door cover which prevented me from using some cases. The item was easy to install and I can access USB C quite easily which is good, but the door requires a lot of force to open, and with a metal tool. This isn't great because it needs to be a quite thin piece of metal like a small screwdriver, and you run the risk of marring the plastic body like I did.

Cap won’t come off without a lot of force from a tool
Can’t remove unless you force it off with a screwdriver or pliers. Unfortunately, I figured this out when I was out fishing and had to switch batteries. I only had pliers on me and I pinched it off gently but the cap got damaged. Bad design, bad quality.

Does what it’s designed to do, but…
The door is hard to open, in fact, I have to use a knife or a tool to pry it open to get to the battery of my hero8.

Works great, better than the original
Much easier to open / close than the normal cover that comes with the normal GoPro. You can also connect it to your usb to charge or download your videos without having to open it. Since the USB is exposed, you probably shouldn't use this while underwater, but I think you're supposed to use the clear protective case for underwater anyway, so no problem there either.

Perfect
Just received a new battery cover for my Gopro Hero 8. Popped off the standard cover and replaced it this one that exposes the charging port. Fit perfectly no issues. Feels very solid, and will allow my GP8 to charge while I record
