Sony Mini DV Cleaning Cassette (Dry) dvm4cld2

I got out my old Sony VX2000 video camera to test it. I had black streaks on the recorded tape, both in the camera and the Sony playback deck. I order this tape and cleaned both the deck and camera. Basically pressed "play" for 10 seconds on both machines. Solved the problem. The old camera can still record and tapes play back without an issue.

Good price cleaned my mimi cam camera in 5 minutes.

It is not a cleaning cassette! Only has about 4 seconds worth of regular video tape trying to pass it as “cleaning”. Absolute lie from the seller.

JVC camera has not been used in many years but was in like new condition. Would not play any videos and kept going into safe mode. I was unable to find any camera techs willing to look at it so I tried the cleaning tape as a last ditch effort. I ran the tape around 8 times (it automatically shuts off after about 10 seconds). After that, I tried another tape and it worked!

Instructions in non-English language. But it was a no brainer.

This has only 90 feet of head cleaner tape in each cassette. If you’re lucky, that may be enough to clean one tape. If you’re not lucky, it’s a waste of money.

Very good! These are hard to find now so it's great to see there's an option to buy them on Amazon for fast delivery. Anyhow, this didn't fit my use case
