This joystick is EXCELLENT. Suction cups are no good, though.
I am very experienced in what makes game controllers good, and I can be very stingy about good controllers and joysticks. For $40, this thing is EXCELLENT.Plug and play. I didn't have to do any configuration at all on Windows, and by default it uses Xinput, which means that you won't need to do much to get it to immediately work with most modern PC games. I used this with MAME, as well as putting it through rigorous play with StepMania, and it held up perfectly. I noticed very little input latency, so it is perfectly acceptable for rhythm games. The switch to toggle from d-pad to control stick is awesome for using on the Switch or PS4, but keep in mind that it is not an analog joystick. It is a micro-switched digital joystick, like all arcade sticks should be. For those that are unfamiliar, this means that it doesn't have 360-degrees of motion, you only get eight directional inputs. Perfectly acceptable for 90% of arcade games. If you need analog, get a flightstick. The buttons are lovely. They're loud, and they're a bit light. I like a "softer" button, because I tend to bottom them out anyway, but they're not light enough that you'll press them accidentally. The suction cups do not work. I don't have a practical purpose for them, so I removed them, but they just absolutely do not work on either of the hardwood tables I tried. If you absolutely need suction cups, you will need to either replace the ones this comes with, or consider another joystick.Other reviews have mentioned the material quality as being not so good, but personally I disagree. I love the luxury feel of the "grip" on the front of it, right below the buttons. The plastic shell is smooth to the touch, and it doesn't have much give, so it likely isn't the casing they're referring to. Naturally, it doesn't compete with a $150 proper arcade joystick, but realistically for the price, this is wonderful.

So close to perfect. But still so great!
So far ive used it on the Nintendo switch and played a little of super smash bros/Dragon ball FighterZ/& Mortal kombat 11. So far its pretty smooth. Buttons are a bit loud but i think it adds charecter and nostalgia. As far as playability i give it a solid 4* i would give 5 However it can play on swith youll need to Learn the button layout since its labled for normal consoles. With that being said i do love the feel, just right size, and good material. Thank you and i do recomend. A good price and good quality.

Loud and no english instructions.
This rating is based on initial inspection of the product when it arrived. I have not actually used it yet.It appears solid and will work well, however I am not the biggest of fans on how loud the stick and buttons are, just a personal preference but it is pretty annoying for me.Also, none of the instruction booklets are in english which will make initial setup a little complicated for me.I may add a star depending on how it plays.

A Must Have
Gave as a gift to friend with arthritis. He truly enjoyed the entire feel and ease of use. Would love if it was cordless, but no other complaints.

Awseome!
No input lag. And doesn't feel cheap at all. Instructions are in Chinese I believe but it's pretty easy to figure out what that you just need to connect a contorl to the stick. It works straight out the box no extra stuff needed. I recommend this product

Did not work for very long for me
Liked it at first. For the price it feels about what you'd expect. At first it worked fine then after a couple weeks my ps4 and xbox one quit recogonizing it. Had to replug it in numerous times or wait like 3 to 4 minutes for it to sync. I just finally returned it and decided to go a couple steps up and spent 50 on a mayflash f500 made much better so far. Time will tell if I end up having the same issues. If you can get one that stays working then its worth it but personally I'd pay a little bit more and get a mayflash f300 or f500 those arcade controllers can be upgraded ti sanwa and I highly doubt this one can be upgraded.
