The cutlery is a flat black and its prefect for the essence I seek. Someone complained about the size of some aspects of the forks and spoons, they're the perfect size if you're using the salad for for salad and soup spoon for soup. The sizes are deliberate In regard to intended purpose.

I got so many compliments on these at our Christmas dinner. They are heavy duty and have a beautiful design. I was very impressed with the quality given the affordable price. They were washed in the dishwasher prior to using with no problems.

We picked up this set of gold silverware for our holiday dinners we were hosting to add a more festive feel to the table. The spoons are abnormally wide and don’t fit well in what I would consider is a normal sized adult mouth. The edges are a little sharper than I would like on an every day set of silverware, but for the price I think they are a great touch for special occasions. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another set but this one came with enough sets to cover most occasions.

Elegant, stylish and a nice change when you need something gold. Highly recommend.

Sturdy and pretty, the only issue I had was that the smaller sized fork was too small - imagine a fork you would use for raw oysters - and the larger sized spoon, with its round shape, was too big. I ended up using the large spoon as a serving spoon. I gave it 3 stars because the larger sized fork was fine and, with the exception of a shortened serrated area, the knife was “sufficient.”
