Lexia 3 V48 PP2000 For Citroen Peugeot with new diagbox

This is an older version and you have to realise that Diagbox is the actual software you need to install not lexia. But i got it to work on my grand picasso 2009 1.6hdi after alot of you tube videos. Just do not update it beyond v5.1.

The hardware works fine, the software does its job but it is like using illegal software where you can't connect up to the internet in case it's detected or will be de-activated.It's not just the software you get with this scanner it's the same with all the software you get from eBay, or off the internet.But it works fine and does the job.

Although sold with Diagbox 7.xx the interface is a revision B which is only compatible with Diagbox < 5.29. After installing the software and a lot of searching on forums I got it all up and running with Diagbox recognising the interface.Unfortunately thats as far as it went although the interface was being picked up correctly by the laptop i was unable to get any readings at all, not even the VIN. This was tested on 2 cars.Having then checked the cars fuses, removing the OBD port to ensure all pins were secured and trying every incremented software revision It pointed more and more to the lead being bad (they suffer at the connection due to bad soldering).Had to return

Price was good and free prompt delivery from UK/Europe. Some sellers take 3 weeks from China!Hardware is ok but the software is a nightmare to install. Needs XP/sp3 (or can use Win7/32bit if using the later package). I only managed to upgrade the software through 7 levels (to 3.62?), not the 10 provided. It fails to validate - always. A 2-page English crib sheet would be good, rather than a screen shot video for 80 mins of installation on a Chinese Windows system. An explanation of the various software choices and 2 CDs would be good, plus an explanation of what all the wires are. I only use half of them.The software ('shared' from PSA?) is ok, but a bit obscure.When running it, wait for it to ask you to connect the device. Do it before and it will not work and gives a silly diagnostic.Having installed it about 6 times, the attraction of a pre-configured package (laptop, installed software and Lexia3) becomes strong, especially if your time is charged.

Arrived on time, Already had software installed so only really purchased for the lead which worked fine after simple install of drivers. my only disappointment was that it has no decals/stickers to distinguish the product but does not effect the use

Great piece of kit. Took hours and hours to install the software, but afterwards it all works well. Read a few forums regarding the correct version of the software to install, you only need to go up to a certain point - after that the software gets more difficult to get to work properly. I use it on a 2012 DS3 to recalibrate the steering sensor and it works a treat.

Garbage, pure garbage! Don't buy this set, technical support doesn't exist.

Globalement bon matos, les raccords sont solides et bien faitça c'était le point fort......Les points faibles :1-les deux dvd sont blindés de virus, j'ai du vadrouiller sur pas mal de forums pour trouver les fichiers2-l'installation, évidemment ce n'est pas un logiciel officiel donc quelques manipulations à prévoir et surtout bien suivre les tutos (en français si vous cherchez bien)Sinon à l'usage :Installé sur un lenovo thinkpad x240 sous windaube 7 pro 32 bits (les mêmes que psa), il faut reconnaître que ça fonctionne plutôt bien, les diagnostiques sont exactement les mêmes que ceux de psa, en revanche certains menus exigent de parfaitement connaitre le logiciel sous peine d’endommager son véhicule, il ne faut pas oublier que c'est avant tout un logiciel de diagnostique et non pas de réparation (effacer un code défaut ne résous pas le défaut pour autant), mais ça permet de savoir ou se trouve le problème; le plus simple est d'avoir l'autre logiciel SEDREAP/AC (P pour Peugeot et C pour Citroën) et DocBackup pour avoir les procédures de démontages et temps de méthodeEnjoy !!!
