I hope whoever invented this is very very rich! This magnet is very strong, comes with a soft pad on the back of it so it doesn’t destroy your door and it is as statically pleasing. I bought this with the intention of hanging a handmade wooden sign on my front door. It worked ok for a few weeks, but with the opening and closing of the door, the magnet would slide down an inch or two every so often. Then one day I came home and the metal hook had come unglued from the backing and slid all the way down my door, scraping the paint off. Now I suppose that the heat from the sun melted the glue and caused this to happen, but you'd think that they could come up with a way to adhere the protective backing without using glue that melts since this is intended for a metal door. Now it looks like a gigantic bird turd on my once all black door. Waste of money and now I have to sand and repaint my door, costing me even more time and money. Highly disappointed with this product.

I was skeptical about this magnet. For the price, I decided to give it a go...When it arrived, I stuck it on my fridge as a joke. I had the hardest time removing it!! I tend to like heavy, overdone wreaths and this magnet did not disappoint. It's been holding my oversized wreath for the last 5 days and has not moved an inch!

These are great! The magnets feel really strong, which is good as the wind here is sometimes crazy. I actually purchased two and placed one at the top and one upside down at the bottom of my handmade wreath, and pulled them taut. It feels extremely sturdy and the 2 hooks hold it really well so it doesn’t move at all when I open or close the door. Great purchase! (I will update if they don’t end up holding up to the Midwest wind and weather, but I would be surprised).Edit 11/10/2020: Well just 2 days later and we’ve had a very windy and stormy day. The wreath didn’t budge! I feel like using the 2 hooks most definitely helped. The wind was strong enough that I think the wreath would have likely been blown off if it hung just by a single hook.

At first I was thinking of sending these back because they kept falling off my door. However, after I let the magnet sit on the door for about 24 hours without something on them they have not moved once. I have had high winds this month and the wreaths are on the front doors. These things, once there, do not budge. So, if they don't want to stay right away remember to stick them on the door, let them stay by themselves just a bit, and then hang what you want on there and you will be set for the whole season.

Word of warning if you’re buying two to hang a wreath on a glass storm door. These magnets do not attract each other so you have to snap the hook off one and use the non-felted side for the back. Other than that, they seem to do well with a light wreath, haven’t tried a heavier one yet.

This magnet is awesome and for such a reasonable price! I have a window at the top of my door, so all of the popular over-the-door hooks were out for me as it would block my window and look bad. This magnet hook is VERY sturdy and adhered perfectly to my door. It has a soft pad on the back so it won't mess the paint up. :) Happily surprised by the quality and look of this hook. It could definitely hold a heavier wreath than I put on it. Can't wait for a big ole Christmas wreath!

It's amazing, strong and I love it! I hate the look of over the door hangers and I love that this doesn't even show at all! I would definitely buy it again.As you can see in my photo I have a giant, 40in wooden wreath. very heavy!

Very strong magnet... would look great and work well on metal door.Just check that door is metal ... mine wasn't !! Will use on side of fridge for oven mitts.

I used another product first that ended up not working and breaking my door sign I just made! I looked up a magnetic hook and watched for strong reviews and this did not disappoint! Strong hold ans my door sign is securely mounted to my door!
