This toy has both our baby and the adults entertained. It is silly and captivating. Whether it’s just a little sound or a full sentence, the cactus will pick it up and repeat it in a very high-pitched, sort of robotic baby voice. It took us a minute to realize the toy was repeating us because the sound is so distorted. It definitely has all of us laughing. Baby was a little confused at first but entertained! She is 6 months old now. I look forward to using this when she starts babbling more so that it will seem like the toy is responding to her when she talks.I will say that the few pre-recorded songs programmed in the cactus are very annoying and fast-paced. I would have enjoyed if there were a few more catchy, less annoying songs.The cactus is soft to the touch. My daughter is very into textures right now, so she enjoys touching the cactus while it is dancing. She is also extremely captured by lights, so the little lights inside the cactus that flash while talking go a long way with her.We typically use this at our house, which is a relatively quiet environment. When first turned on, this toy is loud. I am very glad we opted for the volume-control option. There are really just 2 options- louder or quieter. We always opt for quieter version as I think the automatic loud option would be overwhelming for both of us.Overall I would recommend this toy and would consider purchasing it as a gift!

This is a cute and eye catching toy. My granddaughter truly enjoys it. I also like that I can control the volume. My only complaint is the type of music that is played. Who made the playlist? I just press the button to change the song. This music is not what I would select to play at all for a baby. Maybe just the jingle bell song.

Was skeptical buying it at first but glad I did. Love seeing my baby’s reaction to it when they make a noise and it repeats. The only downfall is that it also has songs on it but unable to control the volume of these songs. Due to unable to control volume of songs played is why I’m rating it 4 stars. Would be 5 if the volume wasn’t that loud

Had a hole in it and when we put brand new out of the package batteries in it. It leaked battery acid all over my adult daughter’s hand. The batteries came from a multi pack and there hasn’t been a single issue with any other battery. But with the hole in the material leads me to think it is a malfunction of the cactus. And no volume control as advertised.

Let me start be saying I bought this toy for a different purpose than it was intended. I have two older children nearing puberty and trying out their attitudes. I purchased this toy as a way to point out their tone of voice while keeping the correction funny so they can learn to laugh at themselves and adjust. For that purpose this toy is useless. I would turn it on when voices begin to stray into the unpleasant and it would not pick up anything being said. Loud noises and loud voices were all that were picked up.When it comes to the cactus as a baby toy, it is too breakable for young children. I have 4 children, some who play gently, some who do not. It would be easy for a child to break this accidentally. I'm not sure how the interior of the cactus is constructed, but I could imagine some shattered plastic poking through the fabric cover easily. It should never be used unsupervised. Also, because the microphone picking up noise isn't very sensitive, it will teach babies to make loud noises in order to be heard. Something most babies and toddlers do not need Encouragement in.If you have a soft spoken, gentle child who needs encouragement to speak louder and will most certainly treat this toy as though it's fine china, this toy is for you. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

It is absolutely fun and interactive toy for toddlers. Hours and hours of fun and all the kids seem to love it. It even sings happy birthday which I found super cute. Also, there is an off button since the kids play with it non stop. Overall, great buy. I would definitely get this as a gift for other parents with little ones. I do recommend maybe for kids that are only child. Love it!!!

my 6m old child is still learning to use this but seems to enjoy the color, noise, dancing. My one gripe with it is the button locations, the print on the device is a bit misaligned.

Meu bebê de três meses queria muito um kkkkkk brincadeira.Eu adoro esse cacto, ele além de repetir o que as pessoas falam, ainda rebola, acende luz e ainda tem várias músicas gravadas nele, além de você poder gravar a sua você também..Só a bateria que não é das melhores, mas dá pra se divertir muito.

Llego como si fuera usado y con mucho detalle de empaque y nunca se comento que era usado ni que llevaba detalle, muy mal empacado.

el embalaje no era el adecuado, no venia con instructivo o bien descripción de funciones en español, generalmente el producto cumple con su funcion pero no me quede satisfecho por la compra, ya que no se ve de la calidad deseada por el precio cuando hay opciones por la mitad de su valor
