I purchased this floor transition strip because my carpet was getting worn down from my cats using it as a scratching pad. The transition strip came with a strong adhesive so all I had to do was press down and hold it and it managed to stick to my uneven carpet easily. In addition, cutting it to size was super simple. I just measured and cut it with scissors. My only complaint - and it is due to user error - is that the color is a little bit off from my wood floor, but I doubt any one notices it except me. Would buy again!

I have been hoping for a new product that would replace the metal transition strips for ever! Tired of having my socks snagged on the little nails that hold the metal ones in place. My roommate has a walker and has to be extremely careful walking over the metal ones. He rolls right over these without even noticing the strip. They are super easy to install! Just make sure the area is CLEAN. I got the light wood ones and they blend in perfectly! Go ahead and order these! You will be glad you did!! I'm going to get another one to change out all transition areas!!

I am beyond happy with this product! I used my floor transition product for two things: on the right is a seamless transition between hardwood and carpet. On the left is just one of several areas in my home where the area (where the carpet met the wall) had been scratched by my cat. I needed some lthing classy looking to cover up the scratches, and this really did the trick. Seriously, this product makes even the shabbiest of floors look like designer flooring. I will definitely buy this again, probably in every color they have, and come up with more reasons to use it. Very easy to apply, it stays in place without even tacking nails, and it looks fantastic.

I had to close a very narrow gap in the transitional flooring between the rooms. I would have to widen the gap to be able to use the T-molding. This self-adhesive strip worked great for me and saved me a lot of time and effort. It is easy to cut and apply. Another thing I liked about it is that the strip is stretchy, and when I cut it off a bit more, I was able to stretch it while attaching it. Holds very tight. I'm not sure if you can remove it without damaging the floor if you decide to replace it. Fits well on my flooring. Looks good. So, it worked pretty well for what I needed it for.
