HOMECRAFT Handle for Savanah Slatted Bathboard / Shower Board – Optional Grab Rail for Added Bathroom Safety, Support Handle for Elderly, Disabled and Limited Mobility Users

I already had the Savanah slatted bath board (from occupational therapy) and came across this handle by accident after I had fallen getting out of the bath as I was looking for something to help. It is amazing. I was a bit nervous if I could fit it myself but there are holes already there under the board, between the slats, for the screws to go into and it was simple once lined up properly, even with my mobility issues. It's made it very sturdy, no wobbles at all and I feel more confident getting in and out.

This fits easily and securely to the bathboard and is a useful addition, particularly if you need to stand in the shower from the seated position.

It's ideal if you want to shower independently, having the handle on the safety board makes getting up and down easier.

Goes perfectly with the bath board, The bath board itself is very sturdy and nicely made. Does not scratch bath tub.

A bit difficult to to install but once you got it in place is a very good piece of equipment. They should sell them together already fitted.

This shower board handle fits well on the shower board and is also easy to assemble.

Useless and unsafe. The bath board that it attaches to wobbles. There is no way of positioning or tightening it enough to make it safe. Might as well rest a plank of wood on the bath. So the handle would only be safe if applying pressure from directly above. Which is totally unrealistic for anybody trying to get out of a bath, who will either be pushing or pulling it from an angle. If you do that then the board (and the handle) just tips. Had to buy two of the boards because the first had a faulty thread and the parts wouldn’t disassemble to return it. So have now spent nearly £60 on something totally unfit for purpose.

Installée sur la planche de Bain Savanah elle ne bouge pas. Bien utile lors des transferts.

non c'è molto da dire, è una maniglia, funziona bene, facile da montare, tiene bene - si monta solo sull'asse sedile della stessa marca

Planche solide et très sécurisante qui s'adapte parfaitement bien aux différentes largeurs de baignoires. La poignée est un plus pour entrer et sortir de la baignoire pour les personnes âgées en manque d'équilibre. Je l'ai associé à de petites bandelettes anti-dérapantes collées dans le fond de la baignoire pour éviter les glissades: parfait!
