Great concept
Love the band that comes with it. First bamboo lid was a little thin and cracked but company replaced very quickly. Great customer service.The wooden spoon is small and the perfect size for easy use in the jar. And love the smoothness of it. Super easy to clean.

Wood lid is a bust
The wood lid on this jar unfortunately wasn't ideal. It came with a small crack so that when the starter grew it glued the lid on and I could open it without breaking it apart. Love the aesthetic but it's actually no longer usable.

Perfect for sourdough starter

Broke on first use.
I received this last night and was so excited to use it today. It’s very cute. Lid was super hard to open and when I put my starter in and put the lid on it cracked and came apart! So disappointed. Lid is very flimsy. Total waste now.

I haven't actually got to try it yet! I need to get my started going. But now I have everything I need to get going. It's perfect. And came with everything I need to get started. Looking forward to this process

Yes yes yes!Love this jar! And spoon. I loved the lid too, but it did chip but I’m not mad because I use a cover anyways but the jar and spoon are worth the purchase to me!

AMAZING
I’ve tried to start a starter about 6 times over. I’ve never been able to get a good rise or bubbles. I bought this container & for the 3 days I’ve been using it, it’s had an amazing rise!! I am SO impressed. It also came with a sourdough starter recipe card & a wonderful thank you card!
