For many years we used wood flag poles. Never again. They fade, turn gray, especially the ball knob. Thise 2 pack aluminum pole is beautiful, light weigh and comes with two attachment devices that made hoopup to the flags so easy. I use zip ties to attach flag to spring hook so i dont have to fight that.

Leaving three stars because I’ve never had an outdoor flag before and maybe I’m at fault for the issues. It looked good and worked with the existing bracket. Overall served its purpose. HOWEVER: Had this flagpole for less than a year before it broke. It’s supposed to be rustproof - the metal clips rusted. It’s supposed to be tangle proof - the flag tangled frequently. One of the spinning rings broke as well. Idk maybe if you’re more diligent with bringing the flag in during storms or high winds you’ll have better luck.

It was a great price and it was easy to assemble. The silver was peeling off of the ball at the top. But I decided to keep it. Its supposed to be tangle free, but its tangled as we speak. I probably would not buy it again.
