Great product. Helped a lot when we redid the grout in one of the bathrooms. Comes with an extra bit. Only wish I would have been able to purchase additional bits when needed (Big bathroom plus small tile means a lot of grout lines) but it did its job well cleaning up the lines before we re-grouted. Ability to purchase an extra tip would have totally meant a 5 star

This Goldblatt grout removal tool works better than I expected for a manual option. The carbide tip is sharp and durable, removing old grout and caulk cleanly without creating a mess, unlike power tools. It’s especially good for corners and tight tile gaps where bigger tools can’t reach. The handle features a comfortable grip, making longer sessions easier on the hands. The replacement tip is a nice bonus, and the overall build feels solid for the price. Great for detail work or small home projects.

This is a little more aggressive than the 12mm square carbide insert scrapers, but it's a good kind of different. Much more aggressive but not to the point of being a plane, took dried glue right off without damage. It will remove wood/underneath if you bear on it much at all but it will take off glue residue like magic wand. Also great for deburring aluminum T-track i had just cut an this was handy sand it worked great with no damage to the carbide bit. This, combined with the 12mm square carbide insert scrapers compliment each other perfectly, where this is aggressive and can get into trim corner features , the square one can do the light duty work, saving the blade life on it. I'm not sure how extra extra inserts would be found, unsure of specifications and it's a nut holding it onto the rod rather than a Torx screw, but I doubt I'll make all3 sides of 2 inserts dull anytime in the next several years so it doesn't matter. Having the spare blade is a big bonus!

A must-have tool for removing tile grout. Good quality and inexpensive.

Pros- works really well to begin. The shape of the tool's tip is very useful (using to remove tile grout and mortar behind, tiles are 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch, so not a lot of space to maneuver and the corner of the tip works like a charm. The soft grip handle is great- I didnt see it as an advantage when purchasing originally and thought it to be more marketing, but its surprisingly comfortable when you're trying to scrape away Cons - only one is that I can already tell after minimum usage I'd say (I'm through 5 grout areas and mortar being scraped away), the tip is definitely losing its effectiveness and dulling. Positive that it comes with an extra tip, but I imagine thats why as the manufacturer knows the useful life of the tip is quite limited. Add in 3-5 tips and

It's veak for removing sanded grout. Maybe it will work with unsended grout, otherwise it is useless.

The tool is designed wrong, just buy the Richard’s banana style with the carbide tip, it’s so much better than this.
