I had explored getting an ergonomic cushion for my office chair to help support my lower back, and discovered that there are so many options. I landed on this one as it was priced well and looked and sounded like it was made well.The cushion is firm (but very comfy) and not squishy or soft. You have to like that firmness. I personally like that as I feel it's very supportive. I purchased it to help with lower back pain from sitting all day and working and also some mild hip pain when getting up after sitting for some time. I find that it relieves pressure from my back, and no more hip pain, so I have found it very helpful and comfortable. I find it also makes me focus on sitting up straight while sitting because it's supportive in the right ways and makes you sit properly vs. my sitting in my normal bad sort of slouchy posture in front of my computer while working :)I like that it has a nicely textured, waffle pattern, high quality cover. It has a zipper so you can remove it and wash it to keep it fresh.Because it is a stiffer type of cushion, it does keep you elevated from the base of your chair and so I personally think you would benefit from having a seat cushion under your feet to elevate your feet as it may be uncomfortable otherwise for your legs if you are sitting for a long time. I'm 5'7" so fairly tall for a woman and still have the need to rest my feet on top of something to keep them comfortable due to the height of the cushion. I have a little stool under my desk where I rest my feet when sitting on it and it's perfect. I know they sell items you can rest your feet on under your desk as well.I read reviews on other cushions on how they lost their shape after a short time. There is no hint of that happening with the one I purchased as it has a firmer memory foam than maybe some of the other options out there.I recently wanted to test how easy the cover was to remove and wash and then put back on the memory foam pillow. It worked great. I did have to fuss with the zipper at first when removing the cover as it got stuck on the side fabric but it was easily rectified. The cover was washed, did not shrink in any way and was easy to slip back into the cushion and zip closed. I was very happy about that!I would recommend this personally, but everyone's comfort needs are different. I don't see any quality concerns at all with this item. It's just a matter of liking the firm but comfy nature of the product. I'm very happy with how it's helped alleviate lower back and hip pain when getting up from working at my computer all day.

This cushion is great! My partner got a similar one that was 3 times as much and this one feels just as good. Great support and very comfortable. My butt is thanking me every day!

The cushion forms nicely to my anatomy. I am 6' 4" and weigh 270. Over time I suspect the cushion may squeeze down but should still offer better cushioning than our upcoming European economy plane sit.

This seat cushion has made a big difference in my comfort, especially on longer drives. The ergonomic design really helps relieve pressure and supports good posture. At first, I wasn’t sure which direction it should face, but once I figured it out, it worked perfectly. The U-shaped cutout goes in the back, and that positioning really helps with tailbone relief.The cushion stays in place and feels very supportive without being too firm. I use it in my truck, but it would also be great for an office chair. Highly recommend it if you spend a lot of time sitting!

I got this for my husband who drives a semi truck. He absolutely loves it. It takes the weight off the tailbone and distributes it more evenly. He said his back has never felt so good. He would highly recommend this product.

Overall I like this cushion just fine and if you had a good chair with a bad cushion, this will give you a viable solution to that situation. I happen to get the Cushion Lab in grey at work and it makes a much better impact. I accidently ordered the XL version of this brand and its a bit too large for a regular chair.It feels like a conformed foam cushion and is helpful.The material could be better like the Cushion Lab brand, having a better foam to memory foam mix and really making the better impact overall.Only 3 stars, as it is fine. I would really recommend just getting what you need with the Cushion Lab main one.
