PMC(TM) Classic Fuzzy Loop Ball Cap by Hazard 4(R) - Coyote

This is a hat! I have a condor and a rothco velco...they suck! This is durable, it is what a hat shout be, nice thick bill that retains the shape you give it. This is coming from someone who owns over 40 hats...this one is the best made hat I own...it is great! Highly recommend hazard4 hats, I'm curious to see what else they make thats amazing. What I'm trying to say is, yes this hat is more expensive at $24, but the others are 12 and this one is ten times the quality.

Well made, plenty of hook and loop areas for attaching IR flags, cats eyes or ranger beads. Additional nice touch is clip to attach to clothing so you dont lose your hat. Brim is a little shorter than normal, but no biggie.

I had ordered the black version of this hat and was extremely pleased. The black hat was a very pliable material, and had a deep gusset for the depth of the head. The coyote hat was a more rigid material, and had a shallower pocket for the head. I could not believe how different the two products were.

The hat is nothing like the picture. The front patch was too low and smaller. Colors different too.

The hat itself is 'ok' however the product color (coyote) and the product photo are NOT even close to what arrived to me via UPS. Not 'coyote' in color and definitely it was not black. I ended up with a DARK brown cap in color. What's up with that? Product description has two color choices (only) so where did this color come from. Not even close.

Great shooting hat. Other hats have that stupid button at the top that conflicts with ear protection and can be painful after a while.

Its OK - velcro areas don't seem to match up to my Gadsden Culpepper patches. Just OK (and it is more of a clay mud brown, not khaki like the picture)

Cómo siempre muy satisfecho con los productos HAZARD4. funda para PC y las gorras de operador son de buena calidad en materiales y mano de obra. Las de algodón son menos calurosas, pero en entornos lluviosos las sintéticas son excelentes. El cordón añadido es muy conveniente para un viento colado no te despoje de tu gorra.

Produit répondant parfaitement à mes attentes ! Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Attention c'est par le velcro arrière que se fait le serrage niveau tête, petite tête = scratch qui pourra potentiellement rebiqué car plus d'accroche scratch et pas d'encoche de finition dans la casquette pour rentrer se qui sera de trop en lanière. Mais cela ne gêne en rien au niveau du port de la casquette et de son utilisation ! Je recommence cet article à tout les amateurs de patchs et de casquette type baseball

I bought this to wear playing airsoft. As written in other reviews it is rather deep and sits low towards the ears. This isn't an issue for me as I have a large head. It is made to a good quality and the colour is really good. The stitching is good and the Velcro doesn't feel like it is going to rip off. I would recommend this hat. It also arrived a lot faster than stated which is always a win.

I bought this hat as I have a few other Hazard 4 items (Shore-leave split-roller, Over-watch Day pack, 2 Night Crawlers and a wallet) so I knew the construction would be first class. That it is and I have no problems with the quality, or colour for that but I do have a problem with the size. Not the head circumference (that Isn't a problem with the Velcro adjuster at the back) but the Crown size. I consider myself a Medium and I say this as all purchases I've made in the past have been in medium and this has always been sufficient. The problem with the crown is that it sits too high on my head. If I measure from one side where the cap sits on my head at my ear then over the top to the other ear, I get a measurement of 13" or 330mm. My current black MFH and my MTP Helikon both have a measurement of 12" or 305mm so that 1" or 25mm makes all the difference. I wear prescription ballistic safety glasses and for the cap to fit as I would expect, tight and smooth I had to pull the cap right down to the top of my ears and that interfered with the arms of my glasses. This had me constantly adjusting them in the very short time I wore the cap. So in effect the crown is too big for "my" head. It's a shame, as the look and feel of the cap was just what I wanted but unfortunately the sizing let it down. Just be aware of this measurement before purchasing and for that reason I can only give this a 3* rating, if the crown was smaller I would definitely give this cap a 5* rating but don't be put off by this, measure your head and if it's ok then go ahead and buy this product. I will be keeping this cap if only to be used as a spare in the field as they really don't come any better than this.
