Dansko Minka

These Dansko Minka sandals are so cute. Typical excellent Dansko quality. Heel height is great for a boost, but low enough for everyday. The sandals look chic for dressy nights on the town and are also perfect with a pair of faded jeans and a t-shirt. They really are versatile.I do have two criticisms. First, be warned the sole is wood with a rocker shape and chunky heel, so they make a ka-klomp sound when walking. My husband says the shoes look sexy but sound like a horse. And second, the ankle strap has a buckle which makes the sandals slow to put on or take off. Neither of these are a deal breaker for me. The high quality construction, typical Dansko comfort, and overall appeal outweigh any minor flaws. I adore the Minka.Edit: I have another criticism but still love the shoes and am keeping 5 stars. The toe opening is large enough that my foot slides though it about an inch. I have to consciously keep my toes from going over the front edge. Eww, that looks so gross. Still love the shoes, though.

I purchased the milled Nubuck camel version of these sandals, and the leather was so soft that I was able to wear them all day the first time I put them on. I need a lot of ankle and foot support because of a sports injury, and sandals are always my most problematic purchase. These are perfect. I will be bringing them on my Italian vacation soon. I was so worried about walking all day on cobblestone streets in the Italian heat, but I feel great about these. Also, they look great with pants and dresses. Where would I be without Dansko?

Comfort is, as always with Dansko, exceptional!!I did not like the color or texture of the leather so I applied some leather grease and rubbed it in. Now the leather is soft, and has a patina.

Okay, as someone who has at least 6 pairs of Danskos (clogs, heels, sandals) in current wearing rotation, I'm a committed Dansko fan. If you have wide feet, even bunions, THESE ARE THE SANDALS FOR YOU. But if, like me, you have regular width feet, even leaning toward slightly wide, these beautiful babies are not for you. :( The only thing that kept them from flopping off my feet during my brief test walks around the house were the ankle straps. If only they were just a wee bit narrower, I'd have kept them!

These are extremely comfortable. I walked around with my family shopping for a long time and my feet never hurt. They seem to run a little smaller than the other Dansko shoes I have tried, so they fit perfect, because I find this brand to run a little big. I’m waiting for them to go on sale to order another pair.The shoes are beautifully made and extremely high-quality.

Bought these for the summer. Put them away for the winter and the following summer they were cracked in half. Did not expect this from this brand.

When it comes to shoes, comfort is the most important thing for me. And with this shoe, style is the extra added! The shoe is well-made, fits securely on your foot, and doesn't feel "cloggy," even though it is a form of a clog. It's got a cushiony foot bed, and the height of the heel is perfect for dresses or jeans. Highly recommend!

Been wearing Dansko's for 18 years but now I'm sad. A friend had these on and they were so Adorable...On Her.The pair I received are too wide for my feet; they feel loose, especially the right foot (absolutely not the same as left), so there's a definite gap while walking in them. Yes! I closed the buckle at the farthest hole possible. Was very tempted to add another with a nail or another object.The design of the leather at front (behind the toes) sits too far back so not as flattering as they could be if the design was better thought out. And my toes also slipped out & over the front of the shoe - as another customer mentioned.The worst result? "Too much visible toe" Seeing most of the toes, about every knuckle... is just... well, it never looks good. Ever. It's not cute :(Plus the color of the leather is lighter than expected - more of a very pale beige than tan.Pros: Leather and Comfy soles as usual for Dansko :) :)However, I will be returning these.
