When I first saw this product, i was beyond skeptical! But my hatred for housing plastic in my mouth for 8 hours/day made me order. I am SHOCKED how well the design works, and I'm a light sleeper! It stays perfectly in the mouth, one piece on each row, like perfect. Haven't had an issue, and I fall asleep fast with it. The double layer is very luxurious (compared to the original). I'm not a dentist, but it feels like it spaces the mouth out even better, and discourages grinding more than the original (by keeping the teeth farther away from each other and the jaw less likely to clench b/c its bigger). I think the fact that there's more material (and the softness doesn't hurt) enhances the anti-bruxism effects. I will only order this version from hereon out, it is the best!!! Highly recommend!

I started clenching my teeth in my sleep in January of 2023 during a stressful life event. Fortunately the stress has come and gone. However the clenching still remains and I haven't figured out how to stop yet. I've been using bpa free bite guards but I have never trusted that the plastic chemicals aren't being absorbed into my body. I have been searching for an organic bite gaurd here and there and this one popped up! It only had 4 reviews but they were all good reviews so I ordered immediately! Shipping was fairly quick and my order arrived neatly packaged in compostable packaging and with instructions. I'm only on night two of using it but I must say, it works!! My jaw has not popped for two days now. It forms to your teeth and stays in place all night. It is easy to clean and after just a little trimming it was pretty comfortable. The only thing that was a bit unexpected for me was the first time I put it my mouth (I tested it out during a short nap) I was drooling like crazy! I believe my body was trying to counter the dry hemp material in my mouth. This only happened one time but I think when I order more in the future, I will dampen them before I wear them the first time. If you are looking for a natural solution that is chemical free and actually helps, give this a try!

I applaud the idea of creating this product but its cost is outrageous!

I have had mine for over three months. I followed the instructions on how to trim it and become accustomed to it by wearing it for about an hour before the first night of sleeping. I did have to do some subsequent trimming to achieve a better fit, and I have followed the instructions on putting it in boiling water once a week to sanitize. It works well for me(and my husband who also uses one)! I estimate that it should last for at least another month if not more. Given that it is a natural product used for hours every day, I think that it is an excellent value. When I wear this one out, I plan to buy more. I am a physician and I feel that this is a safer alternative to having a plastic mouthguard— no risk of microplastics and endocrine disrupting chemicals.

I have been looking for a mouth guard that wasn't made from some sort of plastic. Microplastics have been linked to heart disease and cancer so I don't want that in my mouth for several hours every night. I ran across this and thought I would try it. It actually works. I've gotten into a routine of boiling it every morning while making my tea, so that part isn't as odd as it first was. I have a high bite, so I was able to fold over the front part of it to be able to adjust for my teeth so the pressure is dispersed more evenly, so that worked out well. I have ideas that could improve the design but I doubt they would listen to me lol. The price is a little much also, but I will pay it to be able to avoid plastics.

Honestly, it looks weird, but it really does work. I was nervous that the texture would be gross, but it's fine. I've found that rinsing the mouth guard right before putting it in your mouth for the night makes it feel less like hemp. For cleaning, I don't boil the mouth guard because it's too much effort. I wash it by hand with soap and hot water and try to scrub well. I may also add an ultrasonic mouth guard cleaner as a second step to make sure it's extra clean since bacterial build up can undermine oral health (they are $30 or so on Amazon, and you drop it in for a few minutes, and the vibrations clean it off). These last a few months, so the price feels fair. Every once in awhile, you have to trim a frayed thread, but other than that, they hold up. I will continue to buy these so I can avoid plastic in my mouth all night long, and I'm very grateful they exist.

I love this product and it works great to stop my teeth grinding but really, for what it is it’s way overpriced.

I got the double soft based on reviews saying that this tends to be more comfortable and soft. However, it is not particularly soft (for me at least) and the high thickness makes my jaw uncomfortable. I wish there was some guidance on the differences between each version (single soft, standard etc. Also, it's far too expensive for what it is.
