Q: How bright is this light, how many lumens?

Thanks for your question. For reference only, the lumens of the 28x36 led mirror is about 6251. The light can be dimmable from 10% to 100%. You can dim the brightness as you like or change the colors(warm white 3000K/neutral lights 4000K/white lights6000K). Hope this helps. Any further problems please do not hesitate to contact us.

Q: How do you change the light if it goes out or does it never?

There are 3 buttons on the mirror. One is in the shape of a light bulb if you hold it down for a couple seconds it can turn off. Do the same to turn it back on. To change the color of the lights just press the light button and it will change to another color. If you want to dim the light there is an up and down arrow icon also on the mirror. Please check the video of the thickness of the mirror and frame. The overall depth (front to back) of the led bathroom mirror is 1.6 inch (4cm). The thickness of the frame is 1.06 inch (2.6cm).
