Works well. The larger part snaps on and locks it on. Cleans easily
I bought these as a replacement for my Pendleton cups I have. I dropped one and it cracked the lid.Thank goodness they have replacements. I like this style better than the one that came with the cups.I like that I can clean it easier. The original had a sliding part that was difficult to clean under. This one I just flip the part up and I can take off the gasket and clean under that.

Don't throw your old mug away

Not leak proof.
It is not leak proof. Water dribbles out when tilted to the side. It is a good fit for my Rocky Mountain 30 oz tumbler and leaks less than the original but still not tight. The water comes out of the drinking hole even when plug is inserted.

Worst product ever created in the history of mankind.
When you pop open the lid to drink out of it, it doesn't lock in place. It's constantly flapping down on you. I don't use the straw option so I can't really speak about that, but it's pretty much the most awful thing in the world to have that lid tapping down on you every time you go to drink out of this. I've used it for months and I can honestly say that I'd rather have wooden spikes driven underneath my fingernails than drink out of this.
