I got this 9,75 mtr active usb cable (very good quality) almost on a whim of an idea to extend a webcam from the PC room to another room. It works perfectly with an old MS 2000 little webcam then thought , why not put the cam out of a window to test. Using OBS Streamer App on my PC with the record video button it was surprisingly good , video and audio saved for as long as I want then check and delete as required . It runs fine into a 2.0 or 3.0 usb socket on a PC ..no loss of signal at all . I might drill a hole through a wall and seal it up with the cam outside under a soffit and the connection inside . So for 12 quid and an old webcam I got me a full on home security system.

For the price I was very hesitant at first.... but how wrong i was... solid product and delivers what I need... just goes to show... expensive does not always mean perfect... this is perfect for the price.. recommended product

One on its own works great ,two worked great, added a third to the string and no signal. The third one worked great on its own so not the issue. Was running from a power supply to a travel router.

I was a little apprehensive about how this extention might work being so long and going in to a USB splitter (passive). However, everything work well without hitch or problem. I am glad that both my keyboard and mouse are working as they should, however I have not tried anything more demending of this set up so don't know if there is limitations with other devices.

I used this to have my force feedback steering wheel at the front of the room while the PlayStation was with the projector at the back. I didn't expect this to work so I was really surprised when it worked perfectly.

Je voulais pouvoir jouer à des jeux de courses sur mon vidéo projecteur. Il me fallait donc soit placer la console proche du volant, soit acheter une rallonge USB. Celle-ci fonctionne parfaitement, il n'y a pas de délai notable. Elle s'enroule bien, et le rapport qualité/prix est très bon !
