The media could not be loaded. These were exactly what I was looking for. I have my candle sticks up high and needed a remote for them. Works great. Each candle takes 2 AA batteries. The remote has timer options. And also whether you want it to look like a candle flickering or just on without the flickering. You can also dim the light.

First the complaint: The light is quite weak (and yes, I tried different batteries). I have different lights that are bright enough to at least see by. These are just faintly there. But, that might be perfect for someone else, so I still gave it 5 stars. You can even make it dimmer with the remote.Visually, they look good, no seams or anything odd. The flame part looks nice, has a sort of tapered light effect making it more realistic. I don't use the flicker mode, but that's an option. The battery usage is no different than the other brands I use. I'm trying to find 'that perfect candle'. This isn't it, too dim and too large for me personally, but it is a nice product.

I purchased this candle set 3 months ago and I have been extremely pleased! They look great and don’t burn out batteries as some do. You just have to program each flame with the remote—manually flip on the switch at the bottom of candle and operate the power On/Off switch so it makes the connection. They are a great value for the price. If comparing these to the expensive name brand with real birch (which has a seam in the back) don’t hesitate to buy these. I have both in the same room and these are actually prettier because of the scooped “melted” edge which shows off the warm yellow flame.

The flames don’t exactly sway from side to side like others I have ordered before and was trying to replace, but they do look good, do flicker, and do work well on a timer. I’d buy them again!

Nice candles. Love the timer and that they pop back on automatically and turn off when they should.

Used these candles to replace in solar candle lamps that had gone completely dead. They are great. The flame is a bit orange in color and does not mimic Luminara candles (as their flame is a bit more white) but the flame does flicker nicely and gives off a great ambiance as we have them in lanterns on the floor of our back porch. The remote works well and the timer is an excellent function - you can set them to different lengths of time that you want them to stay lit, which saves the batteries. Have not replaced the batteries yet and have had them on the porch since we purchased them. Would absolutely, 100%, buy them again and again.

Buyer Observations/Helpful hints: 1) These candles are plastic, supposedly waterproof & meant for outside. Purchased to be mostly hidden by decorative holders, so realism was not a concern. 2) Need for 6 AA batteries also not a concern. The included coin battery for the remote was dysfunctional, however….additional cost; $8. 3) The on/off switch is, unexpectedly, inside the bottom casing….took awhile to realize that was the reason the candles would, initially, not work at all. All~in~all, a decent product for the price. ( As they were needed now for a Fall display, it was not worth the trouble to return/replace ). Review submitted with the hope to minimize any aggravation. Pretty design. These are perfect for a nightlight, during a power outage, or just mood lighting. Three of them together is just the right amount of light. I keep mine stored together with the remote in a small box, to not lose the remote.
