I love my ice maker! It makes wonderful crush ice ( think Zaxbys/ ChicFila ) doesn't melt quickly. I have had this for over a year and is on 24/7 has never let me down.

I’ve had this machine just over a year and it has not disappointed! The ice is perfect and produces rather quickly. Easy to clean and use. No issues at all and we use it at least 1-2 full days a week to stock up on ice. Would buy again in a heartbeat

The media could not be loaded. Not a great value for the money. Functionality poor. Per manufacturer The machine suppose shut off when full.However, that's not how it works. In my second picture, you will see a red light showing that the machine is off. You also see a piece of ice right under the bar, touching that top bar.It is a sensor that senses when ice is on that bar or touching close to that bar and it shuts off the machine signaling it is full.The second picture shows green lights after removing the one cube off the bar; the sensor detects it is not full and the machine starts to run again. However, there is a terrible product flaw.We learned this flaw when we went to bed thinking that the machine is full and we would have ice in the morning.Good Lord that is not what happened!! This is a very noisy machine making a sound like an old refrigerator.We became perplexed because the machine kept cutting on when full even after my husband got up several times and dumped ice in our freezer ice bucket.So, what is the flaw?The way this machine functions is long as ice is on that bar it cuts off. But the flaw is the ice on bottom melts and when that happens the ice on bar fall off starting the machine.Bottom melting ice causes the machine to continuously run until a piece or several pieces of ice lie on the top bar.The end result is the ice wet, melts easy, never hardening.In the video, you see the ice characteristics after a couple days. It sticks together because it's wet just never hardens.While the product was easy to use and not heavy it does not provide a good ice experience as market by manufacturer.I cannot recommend this product and I'm not sure if it's just my machine or if other reviewers or exaggerating the truth on product functionality and reliability.But for us it did not work we are returning for a refund. I also purchase a warranty for product which I am cancelling. Disappointing.

Well, I had a portable ice maker that I loved. I needed to get a new one, long story involving african violets being grown too near subjecting it to mold. And alas it's not made anymore. So, I went on the hunt for a new one. I tried several others and they simply made the ice but it was way too wet. Ugh. So, then this one was in the queue. After trying and returning others, I was tired of the hunt and decided that wet ice is just part of the way these things work now days. OK. So I kept this one in spite of the ice becoming wet if I did not use it right away. Bummer. However, it's really noisy. I did not realize it so much until on several occasions friends commented, asking what all the noise was coming from the kitchen. On dear. But what's really bumming me out is that I thought this thing was self cleaning. And lo and behold I looked at the water receptacle and it's dirty. So, off I go with the vinegar and water cleaning from top to bottom. Overall, it works and produces ice well. And I am not sure my complaints are atypical for all portable ice machines so I give it a four, otherwise I would give it a three if I compare it to the original one that I loved that is no longer made. ;(

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and it has received a ton of use. This ice maker will make a batch of ice in about 5 minutes. For best results I recommend placing the finished ice cubes in the freezer ASAP. It runs quietly and produces ice really fast. I'm very happy with this purchase

This ice machine has been working great! I am impressed with how quiet it works, and with how quick it fills up the bin with ice nuggets. It really is much quieter than I expected. After reading other reviews, I was skeptical, but my experience has been positive. It’s been quite quiet. And very quick to produce ice. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. My only negative issue is that the ice buildup as you can see in the photo may require you to move the ice around in the catch bin so it doesn’t back up. It tends to back up in the middle if you’re not on top of it. I understand the mechanics of it, due the the opening being in the middle. I wish the ice nuggets would spread out on their own, but overall, I like this ice machine.
