Worked well in MacOS
I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.5 and it worked out of the box without installing any additional drivers or software applications. The only thing I had to deal with is that my camera was not outputting video signal through 3.5 connector (only audio), so I had to buy S-Video cable additionally. When I connected S-Video and one audio channel through 3.5-RCA cable everything started to work well.To record video you need to open quickTime Player app, then in the top menu select File -> New Movie Recording. Then in the opened window click on a dropdown icon next to record button and select USB Video and USB Audio as sources.Keep in mind that recorded files grow fast, so it's better to record in batches if you are tight on disk space.

Worth it
I have a smart tv so I had to buy this. It was a bit tedious setting it up. Had to plug in the red, yellow, and white cables into the inputs. Then I plugged in another cable and connected it to the tv. Finally connected the micro usb cable inside the av to hdmi to a charger since I didn’t have a 5v power adapter. Picture quality is fine, I switched it to 720p. Build quality is alright. It works well and the value for money is great. I’ll have to use an extension cord since the usb cable isn’t long enough.

Description doesn't mention it but worked fine with Win11
So far this device has been amazing! We recently had a death in the family. While going through items in the house, we came across old home movies from 2003-04 on camcorder cassettes. After not much luck finding a VCR and not currently having the VHS adapter for the cassettes, we found the camcorder that was used. The videos recorded with ease and were clear (as clear as 22 year old tape can be). It allowed my wife's family to see memories they never have before or haven't seen in years! I was told other family members have more tapes at their houses that I will digitize in the near future.I may purchase another video upscaler to try and get some better video quality out of the tapes. Unfortunately my old upscaler quit working after several years.

It doesn't work.
It's very disappointing when a company, selling their product, doesn't stand behind the integrity of their product. DigitNow video capture card does not work. Period! No one answers the customer service support telephone number and the emails offering a solution are non responsive and less than adequate. On line I've notice that there are a lot of people having the same problem without offering any kind of resolutions. If this doesn't work, what else do they sell that doesn't work either? They are quick to take your money, but are too slow to offer a solution. I guess that's how all companies work these days. STOP BUYING FROM COMPANIES THAT DON'T HAVE THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I couldn't be happier about this purchase!
After finding a stash of 30-year VHS tapes in my basement (of my kids growing up), I started researching possible ways to convert them to digital. And sending them off to a company wasn't a good option for me. Instead I took a chance and bought this device. And I couldn't be more satisfied with how EASY it was to hook up and use. There are cords on each end of the device. Ones that plug into a VCR (yeah, you're going to need one of those), and one that plugs into the USB on your computer. Then just install the OBS program. (Easy! Comes with the device). Insert the tape in your VCR. Press play on VCR. (Instructions with the software didn't include that step, so it took me a hard minute to figure that out! Ha!) When you see your content pop up your computer screen, (which for me was like a GIFT to see those old memories come through so clearly!), You just press "start recording" in the OBS program. I literally cried when I saw how well it worked. Salvaging these long-lost memories was very emotional! And not spending $$$ to send them off somewhere was so satisfying. Highly recommend!

Works
Works like it should. Converts video from many external sources to a USB input to your computer. You have to download software from other brands but it works with free OBS if you have patience to configure.
