I don’t know how long it will last or how much tough use it can take, yet. However, it looks great, fires up instantly and burns with a hellish flame. Appears to be sturdy and well made. At this price I think it’s a great deal. Nicely packaged, good instructions so it could be a super gift for a “handy“ person. The photo in the listing is accurate. Fits the typical gas bottle.

I am a union pipefitter and use these regularly I ended up replacing my name brand torch at home with this and this torch is actually far better quality and has held up well so far

Just received today. I felt pretty god when I opened the package and felt how heavy this feels. The controls all feel really smooth. I un-did my old torch head (name brand) and this thing blows the old one away. I can dial down the flame or crank it up. Has a flame on lock which is handy. The size and weight helps offset the weight of the bottle your attached to. I would recommend this unit and save some money over the name brand one.

At first I was elated to find an affordable replacement to my expensive torch tip. Worked well for the first week of use but on my second week, the lock for the trigger to keep the flame on was not moving as freely as the first week of use. On the third week, I tried the trigger lock and it was no longer able to be depressed to lock the trigger. I tried tapping on it, I forced it down and it would not come back up on its own…makes for a sketchy situation when you have a torch flame and your trying to hold the mapp gas canister and trying to pry the lock button up. I would not recommend this item because in my opinion the quality is not there.

Was sceptical at first about buying something like this as an off brand ,but was happy with how it works. Same as higher price brand.
