As a fiber artist, I am always looking for interesting subjects. The images in this book are beautiful, and certainly spark imagination if that's what you're looking for. Even if you aren't, it is full of gorgeous drawings.

This book showcases Haeckel's work beautifully — a fascinating look at an absolute genius. The binding has held up well thus far, and the paper is by no means too thin or flimsy!

It's an exceptional illustration of nature; however, I had hoped there would be more explanation regarding the paints or colorings. I'm learning how to emphasize items, and I wanted to know how the Author did that.

I ordered this book after it was mentioned a couple of times by other authors. Considering it was first published 120 years ago, it’s an amazing body of work. 100 plates of gorgeous illustrations. If you have any interest in science and/or art, you won’t be disappointed.
