Mini, brilliant quality, superb price.
Pros It's really compact, hence excellent for travelling. It has great bass, and high end tones. Long lasting battery life. Good sound quality. Awesome acoustics and very cleverly designed. Nice linkage idea, I use it for my headphones when I turn it off. As good as stereo. Cons The spring that hold it up and keeps the bass so good, is as sprung as it should be. I had to send my original back as the speaker was damaged (although awesome speed of return, next day for free.) Sound quality on Bad audio tracks sounds worse than usual, as it sometimes rattles. Sound quality hardly changed on top quality tracks. Is not great with large room acoustics. Conclusion; I can think of so many good things and hardly any bad things about this speaker, personally I use it as my room speaker, and they're awesome.

The Best Small Speaker I've Ever Bought; Amazing Battery
I have previously tried two or three other types of mini-speaker (also called a hamburger speaker). This is far and away the best one. The sound is crystal clear and very loud; very very loud, in fact. Luckily it has a rotary volume control for quick alterations to the speaker level. But here is the main thing that sets this speaker so far apart from its rivals: its amazing battery. I have no idea what sort of battery the X-Mini people are using but it is truly excellent. It lasts at least 10 hours, but it charges back up in about an hour. High-quality, indeed. When charging the normally blue light becomes red until the unit is fully charged, then it goes blue again. I mention that fact because I have other mini-speakers that are always red when charging; you never know when or if they are fully charged. One slight problem. The 3.5mm lead seems a little too thin; the inner wiring has become exposed through the rubber coating. So don't leave the speaker dangling by its cord for too long. Very highly recommended.

It's good for what it does - but I'll buy stereo speakers next time...
I bought this speaker for my wife to add a bit of power to her ipad mini, and to be honest it's quite a powerful piece of kit for it's size. Bass and Trebles are well defined, and the output, although not a room filler, is adequate for everyday listening. It comes with a USB connector (which charges the internal battery) and a standard headphone jack that pops into the socket on whichever device you are using. There is also a second, ultra short lead tucked into the base of the speaker if you need to save deskspace. The on off switch powers up a blue neon LED on the base of the speakers, and, because the base is lifted off any surface by three small feet, this ensures a cheeky blue glow shows out from underneath, which tells you when it's switched on. It's definitely been devised as a laptop device, as you only have a foot of speaker lead to play with, but that's adequate for most scenarios. The internal rechargeable battery has an extremely long charge life (although this will diminish with each charge put into it), and on two occasions I've forgotten to switch it off, and have left it on for 48hrs+ without it winding down. It's quite good value for what it can do, but please don't make the mistake I did when I first set it up. I charged the battery as required, but when I came to try it on my desktop Mac, the sound was poor in the extreme, until I went back to the Amazon image and realized I had to twist the beast open and flip back the top to get the sound I'd paid for. Once I'd done that, it bounced around the table. Yes I know, don't say it, no need to embarrass me even more! Would I recommend them to you? Wholeheartedly yes if you are happy to sit there and listen to mono sound all day, but when I first showed it to the family I got the "doesn't it split into two speakers like my friends does?" question, and then the "Mono? Whats' that" put down. There's no hiding place when you've bought the wrong piece of kit. If you're happy with mono output, these are perfect, but I know to my cost that there are near identically priced stereo equivalents here on Amazon that you might like to research before pressing the 1-click button for this one. Hope this helped!

Very neat bit of tech
Bought this for use whilst camping and to beef up the sound from my laptop. It's a very neat little unit, not much bigger than a chicken egg when closed. I love that everything is included - flip-up protective cover on the top, built in rechargeable battery and integral 3mm jack plug. Just chuck it in your bag and it's all there. There is a seperate USB cable to charge it which includes a 3mm jack plug so that you can use it whilst charging. It's a standard mini USB socket to charge so you'll have no problem finding a different cable to charge it (say from your cars 12v). The sound is amazing from such a small portable device. It's lacking in the mid-range compared to say, a JBL onstage micro speaker dock that I have, but then you'd expect that as its only got the one speaker driver and it's less than a tenner compared to £60 for the JBL! I've had the JBL a while but I do think that if I had the choice again, i'd have bought the XMI X-Mini instead and not bothered with the JBL - it's that good. One thing; don't forget to open the lid on the top. It makes an ENORMOUS difference to the sound. Update: Now finding that i'm using it all the time with my iPad when watching BBC iPlayer etc. Big improvement on the built in speaker. Excellent.

Spedizione Amazon sempre impeccabile.

Worth the wait as i had to wait for a few extra days to get my first glimpse of my x-mini. I was a bit sceptic about the product but all my doubts were sidelined asa i connected it to my phone. Sound quality is brilliant considering the the size of the device. It is so tiny, i can literally grab it my hand. So, it is a great buy. pros: beautiful design, extremely compact, great sound quality, row connection option to enhance the sound and last but not the least portable. cons: slightly over priced to similar products available in the market. No Bluetooth which restricts the portability and connectivity. verdict: A must buy if u don't mind paying a couple hundred more for a reliable product.
