Third times a charm, this was the third portable cd player I have ordered from amazon the first one would only play about 30% of my cds (deluxe products) it got returned, the second one would play about 60% of my cds (Jensen), kept that one, but this one is the best for sure, plays my entire cd collection, good sound quality, more features than I will ever use, and best of all it works perfectly. The head phones that came with it are not very good, I prefer my 1990 sony headphones that I bought with my second sony discman.**UPDATE** I don’t like the headphones for the cd player, but they are awesome on my Nokia phone that has very low volume with most other headphones, but not with these and they sound excellent also, so before you throw them out give them a try on your phone or any other device with limited volume. They are louder than my other headphones all the way up only at half volume.

Most of the issues in the low ratings seem to be either user errors, or failure to read the manual. This cd player wir in a great and the headphones are the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned.

Product works as described. Opened the package & plugged it into my car. Everything worked as described.

Got what I ordered. Seller did good.

I bought this unit primarily to be plugged into the auxiliary jack of a Bose radio (whose CD player has conked out). The sound through the aux cable was low and muddled, even at the maximum volume on the CD player. For comparison, I connected an old LG DVD player, and that sounded great using the same CD (but it is too large for the space, else I would just use that).The player looks good, the packing and other materials (including a very nice carrying case) were great. But sound quality is the main reason for using a CD player and this one didn't cut it.

So far, this little machine seems to be far and away better than the other one I ordered and returned. The sound is good, the controls are nice, it works with speakers and has many other nice features as described in the listing.
