Bought for Son-in-Law. Installment directions were not aesthetically pleasing, nor were they comfortable as the distance of the controllers was too far from the user to sit in chair properly. After hours of rearranging and added purchase of longer screws to secure product to chair, the final installation brought the controllers to the proper distance, letting the user sit back in the chair.

I wish I could put 1.5; it’s not a bad product, it just had issues that related to me and my application.This “universal” design is only universal for some chairs. I have my entire chair disassembly just to find out that the slits almost line up… but they don’t line up.The instructions are pretty clear and I do like that, but assembly requires a full pit crew to install. At one point you’ll put a bolt through your base of the chair, then grate (slits), then have a washer, spacer, and then another washer that screw upwards into the actual chair.I can’t assemble it and lower the chair down… that’d require me to hold 4 bolts and lower my chair. That’s a 3 person job right there.(To the manufacturer: maybe instead of having 2 washers and a spacer, just have a spacer with 2 washers already attached!)Luckily I’m a mechanic and I’m going to cut new holes in the grate tomorrow. Worst part is it’s made with good material. You could grill off this thing.So yea, I only give it 2 stars because I do like that it’s really solid metal. (Even though I’m going to need to cut through parts of it) and the instructions were clear. I’m just upset that I now have my chair completely disassembled, so I can’t use it unless I reassemble it just to disassemble it tomorrow.Edit/Update*I need to move this back to a 1 star review. It doesn’t even fit my HOTAS. It lists Logitech X56 as a compatible fit, but that HOTAS is too big.So $50 later, and several hours of work and I made my own bracket. It’s not pretty, but no one sees it so it’s ok.I’m really torn on this product; I want to like it, but I simply can’t have this go unnoticed.*Don't let this review detour you from this product. I’m sure if your chair fits, and your HOTAS fits, it’d be a great product. Like I said, it’s some serious material they used and I love that, but having to make modifications and then fabricate my own bracket. It really sucks. If you have a HOTAS with a smaller base this would be a 4-5 star product. Assembly was a bit tricky, but other than comparability, everything else was pretty good.To the manufacturers: I love it, I just don’t love that I needed to do so much extra work. Again… I can’t understand the product quality. For that reason I would still recommend this product, but it’s not built for me and the only reason I kept it is because I had access to tools that most people don’t.

I am not a huge gamer. I am old school and still play elite dangerous. Started using a vr headset with it and wanted to feel more immerse in the game. So hooked up my Saitek X52 system to these brackets and it make a huge difference. Sometimes you really feel like you are in space. The mounts are easy to hook up and do not get in the way. Lot of brackets, just flip your chair over and undo a few bolts, install the new brackets/mounts, then bolt back up. When installing the HOTAS, it is adjustable so you should not have a problem with it fitting. Hold the flight stick and throttle perfectly. Have not noticed any wobble. This is solid metal and will last a long time. I bet you can slam it onto the floor and it would not even scratch it. Only issue I have, or would like to have seen was an option to add a fold away keyboard try in the middle. Then you would not need your desk at all. I am very happy with this mount.Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. Delivery was fast and as promised.[Summery:] All in all I am very happy. I am comfortable with the 5 stars. I have no problem recommending this or the seller. It's made with strong material but the parts do not fit together as tightly as it should.

It's not as universal as I believe it should be. I could only attach the main plate to my forward or aft screw mounts. I got it to work but, the problem is with the HOTAS mounts. They work for placement, but there is play due to the fact that the connecting arms don't sit solidly in their slots. It throws off my throttle and flight management especially when air to air refueling. I just went back to my desk mounts. I would return these but I don't feel like disassembling my chair. maybe I will find some sort of use for them.

The design is fundamentally flawed. The fastening of almost all the screws is designed so poorly that parts have so much play it’s unusable. Get a desk mount and not this garbage

Ich war beim Preis erst etwas skeptisch, ob nicht irgendwo der Haken beim Auspacken zu finden wäre. Nach dem Aufbau bin ich aber begeistert!Das Paket enthält zwei Kartons: einer mit der Universal-Basis für den Stuhl und das andere mit allen übrigen Teilen für den Aufbau. Jeder Karton hat die dafür vorgesehenen Schrauben in unterschiedlichen Längen enthalten. Einziges was ich mir noch gewünscht hätte wären mehr Beilagscheiben gewesen um die Druckpunkte besser zu verteilen, aber es geht auch ohne (Meckern auf hohem Niveau).Die Universal-Basis hatte ich für meinen Stuhl (Arozzi World of Tanks Edition) nicht benötigt und ich konnte beide Arme einzeln montieren.Was auf den Produktbildern nicht herauskommt: Mein X56 HOTAS benötigt auf beiden Seiten die großen Auflagen mit den "Schiebe-Stangen" - mit den Platten ist die Montage nicht möglich. Nach etwas Verwirrung hatte ich gecheckt, dass für beide Seiten die jeweiligen Auflagen 2x vorhanden sind! Wow! Da ist wirklich an alles gedacht und ich war hellauf begeistert!Das ist ein Produkt, was aufgrund der schönen Verarbeitung, Zubehör und Montagemöglichkeiten wirklich jahrelang halten und auf zukünftige Stühle mit umziehen wird.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Instructions are complicated and do not include the M6 bolts I will need to secure to my chair. M8 are supplied, but if item is described as 'universal' I should not now need to go to the store to make an additional purchase. If I can get time at the weekend to assemble after buying new bolts, I will edit my score to perhaps a 3 star if there are no further problems.UPDATED: Downgrading review as after purchasing additional hardware in an attempt to make this fit, it has become very apparent this is far from a Universal. It's been a lot of money and time lost on this.

Bon produit, je cherchais un support de part et d'autre du fauteuil et ce n'est pas si facile à trouver. Celui là est de bonne qualité, bien solide mais pas facile à monter et certains fauteuils ne sont pas compatibles car il faut une visserie en 8 mm or pour ma part j'avais plusieurs fauteuils en 6 mm... donc vérifiez...

I am very impressed with the set up and overall happy with everything. I attached this to a chair that I was not fond of and it increased the rigidity of the chair significantly. The piece came with extra parts however not some of the parts that I needed. However, a few screws and some T-nuts had the rig secure and rigid. I am overall please with the outcome and at the moment my biggest regret is that it is not expandable. I would buy again.
