No more glass shell
These have a softer, high quality plasticy shell - not the traditional glass shell. So for that reason alone I would continue to buy them.4000k was the brightness I was looking for in my kitchen. Very bright without looking almost blue, like 5000k looks like to me.Can't speak for the lifespan so only giving 4 stars. No complaints.
