how to open the closure?

Where it says "proto", is that just a sticker that could be peeled off?

I was trying to find out additional pictures online but was unable to - does the handle fold down or is it fixed/perpendicular to the lid at all time?

I need to put an 11" (l) x 5-15/16" (w) x 2-7/8" (h) item in this toolbox. is the bottom interior of the toolbox at least 11" x 5-15/16" ?
