Perfect Imperial Only Tape Measure
In the UK, it is nigh on impossible to find an imperial only tape measure nowadays. This tape measure is well made. Having inch fractions clearly labelled on both edges is so much better than having a split between metric and imperial. The pencil sharpener is a nice touch, as is the white label for jotting down measurements on the move. It is a strong measure that easily extends for 8 or 9 feet without collapsing. Two options for locking - temporary hold under the finger and slide lock on top. So easy to use. The spring clip is also much more user friendly than the usual metal bracket. I find imperial is the perfect system for working in wood. It just makes sense. There is no need to work machinist tolerances in wood. So easy to half and quarter using imperial fractions. Doing so encourages working in wood. I have no problem living in a scientific metric world, but please leave me with meaningful units that help me. Who wants to say twenty five point four millimetres when you can simply say 'inch' and then divide into halves each time to make 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 etc.

Great Tape Measure
Superb tape measure. Reading in either direction (L to R or R to L) made easy. Handy clip and good, smooth, (though, not too aggressive) rewind.

Solid, imperial, best you can buy!
So solid and well built, I didn't realise it was purely imperial so bought the yellow one straight after. The accuracy is great which naturally knocksdown easy reading. the sketck pad and sharpener are must haves now. The clip is much sturdier than usualBest of its kind anywhere!

Ideal for use on the table saw apart from one catch
Bought as I needed to have a measure from right to left ( ie fence to blade ). Only let down is the blade is flat and therefore cannot be used as a normal tape as it just droops down.

Amazing / Awesome
This is the tape I have needed for years, It's amazing. I could write a thousand words telling you just how great and handy this tape is But I won't. I will simply say if you need a tape then buy this one.
