I bought this because, being quite short, I can't handle a standard gas powered weed eater, with he heavy head and too long body. This weed eater is much weight and the adjustable length makes it perfect for me.The assembly pamphlet however bore no relation to reality. I just had to do what seemed logical given the pieces in the box. Never could get the stone guard to go on. Oh well....The plastic blades are pretty much worthless, snap off in in regular grass. But the metal ones and the saw blades work great on tougher weeds. I also bought a twisted wire head attachment separately, but haven't used it yet. Batteries run surprisingly long, about 25 minutes each and charge in about minutes.

This little unit does a great job for edging and I like the blades as you can really chop away at some weeds and other tough items. Recommend this item.

Works well on small places. saw blade hangs up when trying to cut small limbs not the best for any cutting.

We love it !It real works good , can’t say much for the plastic blades , but I have allot of thick grass and tall ,It’s great .The battery last about hour 1/2 , and that’s fighting Florida grass and weeds .But the best part is “No String’s “ !!!!!

I love this weed eater! It is light weight and has really great kick! I never expected it to work so well, I thought it would let me cut some grass but I have cut wild grapevines, trimmed my shrubs and cut back some weeds as big around as my thumb! It even shreaded a dead tree limb! I’m amazed!

So far so good, use the gloeves they provide since the blades are sharp, be really careful when you use the plastics ones as they are not good material for me they are going to the trash Instructions they suck really bad I think they can do better is really easy to assemble if they do it right it took me 15 minutes but it should be less time. It works ok but if it had more power it would be better and good tool but it does the job.

If you need something to cut grass in the field this would be fine. If you have anything like concrete, bricks or rocks as a border be ready for a lot of kicks backs. If you try using this as a edger to create a nice line, better hope there’s no cars around because any small pebbles will go flying and hit whatever is near when using the saw or blades.Also the plastic blades are just cheap and will break if it touches anything hard.Wish I kept the box so I could return it.
