The Video quality and 2 way audio works perfectly. The night vision is also very good. The pan and tilt function works fine. I installed a 125GB SD card which is still not full even after 20day HD recording and still counting. Can’t explain but I think the camera has good video compression. Now to the negative. I bought 2 of these product, one from amazon and the other elsewhere. I could not get any of them to connect to WiFi. The user manual claims it supports only 2.4gHz WiFi connection. I turned of my WIFi’s 5gHz and yet still unable to connect. I had to hard wired one of the cameras and connected the other using a Powerline adapter. Amazing product once set up but be prepared you might not get a WiFi connection. Be prepared for additional cost if network cables. Depending on your property and location of the camera, if you are unable to hardwire directly to the router, you may need to spend another £25 on a Powerline adapter.

Great camera and also very clear. A right pain to setup as no instructions on this but finally got it going after a few hours of digging around online.

You need to be an advanced user to figure out how to set this up. There is NO WEB INTERFACE. You need to download Hikvision iVMS software direct from China (always advisable!!!!), and you can't login/setup without it. The documentation is not for this camera. To find the admin login/pword you have to search online forums. The admin login is admin and the password is admin+activationcodeonbottomofthecamera (without the +). This entire thing is a complete joke and it is like a clue-quest to set this thing up. I would have given it 0 stars if not for the fact that the hardware/camera itself is quite good once you get it going.

Sieht gut aus und die Daten passen auch. Als erstens war ein UK-Stecker dabei, was ich so nicht in der Beschreibung gefunden hatte. Nun gut... Schlimmer ist, dass diese Cam keinen internen Webbrowser bietet, womit man die Kamera in Betrieb und Konfigurieren könnte. Das ist aber wichtig, wenn man diese CAM in sein eigenes Sicherheitssystem einbinden möchte (z.B. NAS). Im Netz hab ich eine Anleitung gefunden, wie man das sehr umständig austricksen könnte, aber auch das soll nicht stabil sein. Die CAM ist dafür gedacht, dass sie NUR über HIK-Connect läuft. Damit laufen aber auch alle Daten über dessen Server. Geht zurück, da mit solchen nicht genannten Einschränken nicht zu gebrauchen.

Overall it's similar to DS-2CV2Q21FD-IW but the firmware version is old and not allowable to upgrade to a new one. O bought three pieces and both have the same problem. Firmware is V5.4.4 build 171115 Problem: you can't hear a voice while using live view or playback of the other side. The speaker and mic only work for two-way communication. Also, the microphone button is not available in HIK Connect. Not recommend to purchase just a video without audio.
