Quiet and simple.
Easy to set up and clean. Quiet operation with several modes of water circulation. I have two cats and they both use it daily for drinking and for cleaning paws. It has two foam filters and one charcoal filter which all need changing. The foam every 2 weeks and the charcoal filter every 500hrs of operation. Very easy to change. I would recommend ordering replacement filters and foam soon after receiving. Make sure your cats take to it first. My two cats took several days. Cordless battery operation option lets you place it anywhere in your home. Great product.

I got the extra filter package, with corded version (by mistake)… BEST of the 3 I’ve tried!
3 Fountains I’ve purchased:1) Drinkwell zen corded fountain about one gallon, round stainless steel bowl.Large bowl with downspout in stainless steel, immersible pump, flimsy carbon filter, plastic housing, cord only means continuous stream, might be too noisy for bedroom. I upgraded it with a trimmable larger carbon aquarium filter and nylon drawstring bag over the pump. Requires a brush to clean the tubing and pump housing. A juggle to assemble and lot of surfaces to clean. Manual fairly good on cleaning. I’ve had pump several years! No rust as of yet. With the upgrade carbon & nylon bag around the pump, I’m cleaning every two weeks in outdoor, partially sheltered location. Easy to top off. Nice capacity.2. ipettie (rechargeable ensure you select this if desired there is also a wired version which I got) fountain 4 litters (1.1 gallon). Stainless steel square bowl more compact than a round bowl; immersible pump includes long cord (5’ usb-c cord length), wired version includes the adaptor!!! and brush for cleaning (immersible pump with tubes will be some extra cleaning there); some pre-filter sponges. Very easy to assemble, and only the continuous spray plug-in is on apparently I got the WIRED version by mistake when I selected the extra filter package. The 5’ cord and included adaptor makes that doable. Has a plastic inner shelf to hold the filter. A little SLOW topping it off, could be deeper; like the level viewport although hard to see that at night even with light. Just got this one—So far this is the best fountain for my six cat household with 1.1 gallons as cats need 1 cup per cat! I refill with RO water. My cats do drink out of this more often than the red plastic one, I think continuous flow might taste better & I like the continuous water flow it’s got a comforting ‘white noise’ to it. Note: I have it on a tray with a lip to contain any spills.3. Pawaii rechargeable small red compact all-plastic fountain. Impeller external to pump, battery and controller, 6-stage filter snaps neatly in place would be good for poorer water quality or purchased distilled water; short cord (6”) for recharging 🙄. No adaptor. Easy to clean and assemble. Too small for 6-cat household. Water Top-off easy. Battery lasted me one day to two weeks. Plugs into red covered receptacle on back top of controller. Highly variable charging capacity probably due to how often my 6 cats walked in front or drank from it, because the flow is activated by a sensor & also comes on every hour. Controller not well covered in manual; resetting the warning filter light takes a very quick tap four times to reset (I was pressing that too long). If you reverse the plug, it will charge (blinking green) but after completion, it will not flow—never goes to “blue” light stays on the steady green light. Then, You have to reverse the plug to get that flow working again after recharge, for the normal blue light. Don’t know if the UV light really works at all (it’s under the unit directed to the water). Best for location close to plug (6” cord) and less frequently used, like bedroom. Not sufficient for my six cat household as the ONLY fountain. Had this 3 months with a lot to learn! Have it on a tray in bedroom, where use is limited & to contain any spills. Fairly quiet. With it’s intermittent rain noise it can actually be worse than a continuous ‘white noice’ I’ve noticed in the bedroom setting.

Easy to clean.
Easy to clean and my kitty loves it. My only question is where to find the extra filters? The filters are different than the one I previously owned and Im not seeing on Amazon the right filters for this one, I wish it was linked with this fountain.

Clean machine.
I liked it, but the dog didn't. He was very reluctant to approach it.

Don’t waste your money
Bought this in October. Initially loved it. The pump stopped holding a charge in January. No big deal, just plugged it in. Pump completely stopped dispensing water this week. No customer support available. I’m stuck with a useless fountain and filters.

Great product, my first time using water fountains for pets.
Great consistent flow, I have 3 small pups and have to refill every 2-3 days. I got one for my 3 pups and 1 for my 3 cats, I’ve moved increased water intake for both.

New type of waterproof self-contained battery pump
The new type of waterproof self-contained battery pump on this unit is not as powerful as the older pumps with tubing, but no hassle of cleaning tubing is a plus.I had issues with the first 2 units I purchased, both motion detecting sensors did not work. The units would pump water but only on the timed mode. I reached out to the company a few times and all they had to say was wave your hand in front of the sensor, and it will work. I know how the sensors work because I have the old style pump with the exact same functions on top of the battery. Not only that, but I tried to get the issue corrected with iPettie without returning them back through Amazon. My husband is an electronics engineer, and he felt the company had a bad batch of sensors, and notifying them of this issue night help. They just couldn't get past telling me to wave my hand and to reach out to Amazon as the US iPettie distributor. Amazon replaced the 2 original units, and they worked fine, my cat easily activates the motion sensors.I must also warn the description says filter sponge x 4, but it only includes 1 filter for the waterproof self-contained battery pump. The directions say replacement filter - You can search B0BZCV19QQ to find the filter, but this number is incorrect.I'm giving this unit 3 stars due to lack of 4 filters for the bottom of the pump with only 1 in the box, incorrect filter replacement information and the lack of iPettie customer support. I still have no clue how to get the replacement sponge filter for the pump? Also, you might have to return a few units to get one to work correctly.
