I brought these to see if I could save a little money on these electric bills this summer. I had brought 2 prior back at the end March 2023 and tested my bill for difference. WOW - there was a difference. I have actually been saving some money. I don't know the exact science on how these work but it worked. I started with 2 and now I'm at 6. I have a large 2800 sq house so I wanted to cover every corner. I put one literally right next to the fuse box and other in kitchen, office and man cave where there is high electric use. I have been saving money ever since. I usually have to pay $30 to $40 each month extra in the summer and that is with my solar panels. But since the use of these. I only pay the $10 customer service charge.
