I’ve been using the Arlo cameras for a few months now and I’m really impressed. The video quality is excellent, both during the day and at night, and the wide-angle view covers a lot of space. Setup was simple and only took a few minutes with the app. I love that they are completely wireless, so I didn’t have to deal with cables or drilling holes. The rechargeable batteries last several weeks before needing a charge, and I get instant motion alerts on my phone. The app is intuitive and makes it easy to check live feeds or review past recordings.

Can't believe how effective the Arlo Pro 5S is, especially the 2-way audio. It makes communicating easy when I'm away from home. The camera's quality is impressive, and the setup was straightforward. Overall, a reliable addition to my security system.

The picture quality is pretty good, as long as you don't touch the screen on the app. As soon as you just try to zoom in the smallest amount the picture quality breaks up, becomes blocky and degrades rapidly. Disappointed I couldn't zoom in to see some details a few feet from the camera. I adjusted all the settings I could, HDR mode, best video quality, etc. If you try to zoom in just a little bit on a recording it becomes almost blurry, Their 4K camera does the exact same thing. The mounting bracket is horrible. It is designed to let you tilt the camera up and down, side to side, but no matter how hard I tighten the screw the camera is so heavy it slowly dips down. If you turn the mounting bracket so it can't, then you lose most of the up and down tilting. Horrible bracket, the 4K model has a perfect bracket. The light on this model is very dim, barely illuminates the area. The 4K model has a much better light. Camera does not pick up and register movement (even if you crank up sensitivity) from the sides until the movement is almost directly in front of the camera, dead on straight. Even if you turn on 180 degree view. By the time it realizes there is someone there and it starts recording, the person has almost moved out of the camera's field of view if they are moving left to right (or vice versa) so you barely get anything on the recording. VERY poor detection on the sides with a delayed start of the recording. I tested this extensively, adjusted everything I could in the settings, I tried walking across the camera field of view, on my phone I could see myself walking almost immediately in the camera field of view but the camera didn't start recording until I was almost directly in front of the camera, completely missing the whole left motion. Very disappointed in this. Someone moving quickly will not even be visible in the recordings, rendering this camera almost useless. I hope they can fix some of this with a firmware update as this was not a cheap camera.

Around our home, we've owned a lot of security cameras over the years. I picked up this Arlo camera several years ago to help cover a 'dead spot' in our coverage around the house. Given that it was wireless and battery powered, I felt it was a good alternative to running power and network to location that was a bit further away from the house. Installation and setup was relatively straightforward. The image quality was good and I was happy that it includes audio. The cameras hold up well to the weather, which is nice given that we've seen some cameras that fail over time. I'm giving this product 4 stars because of the battery life. After about 18 months, the battery started failing, only providing a few weeks of power with each charge. Having the pull the battery out simply to charge it frequently is a pain. I added a solar panel to the camera, plus a new battery, and it's like having a new camera. I never have to worry about the battery dying. The app for Arlo cameras is very good; I have ours configured to give me notifications when there's movement detected by the camera and a recording is availble. All in all, it's a good camera to help provide coverage where you may be lacking coverage. However I will state that having a solar panel from the beginning makes a huge difference.

I have bought a number of Arlo cameras for each property and they work great once setup. Cons - setup is painful and never seems to be smooth. Nice to have a 1800 for customer service.

If you happen to be in India please do not buy this product. It turned out to be a useless product even though I paid a premium for it, as the current app does not support 5SPro in India. I am hugely disappointed as such products are allowed to be sold on the platform inspite of the product being not fully supported to be functional. As a consumer this I feel cheated by not being informed correctly before purchasing.

En la aplicacion de arlo en Mexico no aparece esta camara, falta que la actualicen. Espero que no tarde mucho para poderlas utilizar

Es importante no vender productos en México que no funcionan en el país, sobre todo que la Empresa no lo advierte hasta que entras en contacto con ellos en el servicio de post venta.
