This is a great product for camping as well as emergency lighting. Bright light. Good lantern. Holds charge.

Best solar lantern every
I spend much time on my boat and the Lucy lights are fantastically bright, attach anywhere, stay in place even during gusts, and help save battery juice every day. There are three brightness settings but I rarely go to the second or third brightest. The lowest setting is plenty bright to do what I need to do in my cabin or outside. If we need a lot of light, we sometimes go to the second brightest and use one light only. The brightest setting is like a big flashlight. I haven't used it but it could come in handy. Next time we need light in the engine compartment, we'll have a Lucie handy. I use them blown up but I could flatten it and it would fit in the tightest space and shine lots of light. The fourth setting is a flashing light. I've not had a chance to use it but it'll be very helpful if I ever need to get somebody's attention or in a dangerous situation as a warning light. I've now bought four but I keep giving them away--they are just so darn practical. Will continue to buy these. I highly recommend them for camping, boating, or any low-light scenario where there's either no electricity for lighting or one needs a quiet light source (no generator) to light up one's surroundings. Yes, they are that bright.

Great product
Bought this a couple years ago. It's still going strong. Bought to use on my paddleboard, but actually tend to use it more during blackouts. It gives off a bright, but not blinding light.

Amazing Camping Light — Lightweight, Bright, and Solar-Powered Convenience
The light itself is impressive. It has multiple brightness settings, and even the lowest mode is useful inside a tent. On the higher settings, it’s bright enough to light up a whole picnic table, cook area, or camp setup. The soft glow makes it great for reading or relaxing at night without being harsh on the eyes. What really stands out is how durable it is. Despite being inflatable, the material is tough and holds up well to being packed, dropped, and used outdoors. The waterproof design gives me peace of mind if it rains or gets splashed. Overall, this little solar lantern is incredibly reliable, lightweight, and surprisingly bright. I take it on every camping trip now, and it always comes in handy. Highly recommend for campers, hikers, or anyone who wants an easy, portable light source without worrying about batteries.

Nice accent light, solar only!
I've got several Luci lights already and decided to add this to my collection. Like the others it is small, lightweight, easily portable, mostly weatherproof and has solar charging capabilities. The colors are bright, vibrant and make great accent lights. It does have a bright cool-white mode for general light as well as a color cycling mode. The sparkle infused plastic does a great job at diffusing the light and spreading it around in all directions, it can easily fill a tent camping or a small room. I actually think they should use this in all their lights for better diffusion than the matte plastic they use. My only ding from the light is that it is solar charge only, so if you have a few cloudy days you're not going to have much light out of this. Would be nice if it had USB-C as a backup like some of their other lights. I'd also like to see some more fun light modes, maybe flickering red-orange-yellow to simulate a campfire, with all the LEDs it could look amazing. Add in a fun party mode that pulses and changes colors, even better if they added a basic mic to have it pulse with music. Aurora mode with shifting green, purple and blues. Ideas are almost endless. Anyway, as is. It's a good, self-contained, colored light good for camping, power outages, parties, etc. You won't have to worry about batteries as long as you have some light. Price is reasonable. And it should last for years with proper treatment. Like all of Luci's lights, I can recommend this one if it fits your needs.

Perfect timing!
I ordered these to take with us on a backpacking trip because all the reviews say they are super light and bright. I could not agree more! They could not have been delivered on a more perfect day! We all like to play with our new toys when we get them. The very day these were delivered we had a pretty nasty storm and lost power for 8+ hours!! And we NEVER lose power!! Thankfully they came fully charged because We got to test these puppies out in pitch black. One lantern lit up an entire room on low! We bought two (but now I want more) and had one on each end of the house and were able to navigate without extra flashlights. I can see where people might feel the loops/ tags on the ends are flimsy but come one, it’s a plastic blowup lantern! Even if the hanging tab breaks they can sit on the ground or on just about anything because they are so light. I haven’t tried floating them on water but according to the video you can do it. They appear to be pretty waterproof. We are super excited to use them on our trip to see how the battery life holds up. Oh! And we also saw these at REI yesterday for $24!! So you’re getting a deal for $20 on Amazon ;)

Great Around the Campsite
I own 5-6 of these types of lanterns from MPOWERD and really enjoy them. If you're looking at buying one, I think the biggest decision for you is if you have the patience for it to charge via sunlight or if you prefer having the option to charge electrically as well. This one is solar only, but they do have other models with electric AND solar charging options. For this model, I typically like to tie a ridgeline when camping and hang a few and let them rotate colors. It's just a fun, quirky addition to my campsite. I also keep one tied to my camp chair just to have some low ambient light that doesn't blind my campmates like a headlamp does. The runtime on these is really good, 8-12 hours, but understandably they do tend to dim over time. The brightness isn't great on these, but I think that's by design. It can easily light a tent, and it's a little dark but you can also cook by it (just don't let it melt lol). You can also throw them on your backpack/bike if you want some safety visibility but don't want to intrude on your camping neighbors. I do like the "red light" option for maintaining night vision when you just are quickly grabbing something from the tent or cooler. The charge time is decent, but solar is solar and does take time and the right conditions. I feel like they hold a charge very well when not in use -- but I also make a point of getting them out every few months and making sure they are charged for emergencies. I live in Oklahoma, and during tornado and winter seasons our electric grid is less than reliable. It's nice to have these around the house and not having to burn flashlight batteries for basic, sustained visibility. The material is sturdy, but I would advise not completely inflating them - other reviewers have mentioned that they have had some puncture/seam tearing problems when over inflated. Leaving them a little "soft" doesn't tend to hurt the light distribution, from my experience. Highly recommend.
