The nest box is well-made with good spacing of the screws for cage attachment. Good value for this price level.

It requires 2 pairs of hands to set up whether inside or outside in a cage already with parakeets in it. They literally ate the front perches and constantly fight over the one I set outside the cage but not the one inside the cage.

The size is too small for cockatiels to breed in. Cockatiels have long tails so this would be very hard for them to turn or move in. The metal circle protecting the opening from being chewed on was very sharp on the edges and would cause injury especially if they put their tongues on it. I was able to remove it thankfully. The ventilation holes are a good idea to keep fresh air coming in. The top hinge lid needs to be able to open on both side, like a picnic basket, hinged in the middle and either side can open up. That way no matter which side of the cage it's installed on, a person can always open it from the front. Having it open up on only one side is very inconvenient and difficult to use.

The quality value and have comfort it is for the holes that are on the side of the house so perfect 😀 Versatility sturdiness and the size is perfect

One of my female budgies, Snowy, is an introvert and wants to sit in her box all day and sit on her non-existant eggs. Even the avian vet gave her a clean bill of health. She's just weird. So this box helps her. She's 7 years old and has been using this box for over two years now.
