Very useful aid to learn vocabulary
These cards are exactly what I was looking for and I can definitely recommend them as a good way to learn vocabulary quickly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that it feels like some of the words could do with updating - words like "cassette recorder", "telegram", "video cassette", "floppy disc" etc should be replaced. But, still an excellent tool, well worth the money.

GERMANIC GRAMMAR
Generally good, but cards a bit too small and thin . Quite hard to handle as Flashcards. Has a very good range of words---there are a lot of cards.

I found it very useful as a vocabulary builder, to carry a few cards with me each day and review them as I went about my work. Reasonably good quality and easy to use indexing system.

I just got these cards yesterday. I think they will be very helpful to test how well my other methods of learning are working. I don’t think they would be useful if this is your only method of learning German, but will be a great supplement. The cards are the size of a business card. The paper quality (as I have seen in other reviews) is not the greatest. I would call it a thick paper, when I feel these could be improved by having them be more of a heavy laminated type shiny card. Would NOT be good to just randomly throw into a pocket or bag. I suppose the benefit to this type of paper card is that you would be able to write on them, if you wanted to add your own notes or pronunciation guide. I haven’t found any errors yet, but I have not looked at all 1,000 cards!

These cards are perfect for someone looking to build up their vocabulary. The cards are easy to find because of how they are labeled. When you open the box you will see that each section of cards (Useful Adjectives, Clothes/Shopping, Weather, etc.) has more blue marking on the top, making it very easy to find the specific section you want to work on. You could also just arrange the cards into whatever groupings you like to study differently from how they are set up originally. I really, really like these cards.
